11 Months Old Already!

Man, where did the time go? Seriously, it feels almost like yesterday that Noah and I were just coming home from the hospital! I remember feeling so nervous, scared, and happy all at once! I still have some of those feelings, but it's more about the milestones he's reaching! I am so so so proud of him! He's now Officially a Walker! Yay! He started walking more last Tuesday, and has just been getting better and better everyday! Now he just needs to figure out how to get back up when he falls, or should I say lets himself sit down! He always crawls to something to pull himself back up! He's getting so big! 8 teeth still, with one that feels like it's popping through his gums!

He's been saying MaMa and DaDa for months, but he recently started saying what sounds like Pop Pop, and I was trying to get him to say Grammy, but he just says Ga! He can say cat to, sounds more like Dat but you get the point!

I can't belive how big he's getting! Next month at this time he'll be a year old and I'll probably be crying!

This first year of Motherhood has been absolutely amazing! I wouldn't trade it for the world! I have learned a lot, and I'm greatful for this blessing in my life.

1st Christmas!

We had 2 special reasons to celebrate this Christmas! December 24th Noah turned 10 months! Of course the following day was his very 1st Christmas ever! He got sooooo much stuff! He wasn't of course into opening gifts this year, but he still had fun playing with everything! Then today we went to Target and were walking around the toys, then Mom and I we like wait, he has a living room full of toys he doesn't need more! I think I had the very best Christmas ever also! Noah gave me a chain, and little boy charm with his birthstone and a book Everyday Blessings. It made me cry, and still does everytime I read it! I had a great day, I am not sure anything could top that Christmas day for me!

To top it off I found out that a friend of mine who had her daughter 2 weeks after Noah is expecting a little boy in May! I was so happy that she was going to be able to enjoy a boy as well as a little girl! Congrats Heather and Andrey!

In his ball pit...it came with a amazing 20 balls, not even enough to cover the bottom! I thought it was smaller then this and thought 20 balls would be fine for a start and if he liked it I'd buy more....well I don't think this is a favorite!

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! It really is the best time of the year! Now on to a New Year in a week!

I know that my family and I had a wonderful Christmas! The only thing that could have made it better is if Jeff was here to have spent some time with Noah on his first Christmas. He was watching from above I'm sure. RIP Jeff, my thoughts are and have been with your family and your daughter.

December firsts

I can't believe it's December already. I have been looking at my 12 month frame for Noah and there is only 3 more slots left. I remember when he was 3 months old and I thought it would take forever to get to this point...boy was I wrong!

So far this month Noah had gone to his baby cousin Antonio's 1st Birthday party! Elmo made a apperance! Surprisingly none of the little kids were afraid of him!

This was a absolutely GREAT party and they did a wonderful job of planning it! I had fun! Noah did to dispite he wasn't feeling 100%.

My little guy is getting so big!

Today was his 9 month Well Baby Check. His Dr is pleased with how he is eating, how he's growing everything! He is in the 95% for his height (30 in) and head circumference (18 1/2), and 85% for weight (22.9). I am so proud of him!

I can still remember back when he was first born and every time I took him to the dr I cried! LOL I was a pretty very emotional new Momma! I remember when he slept in my arms while we waiting, this time he's arching his back to get down. Crawling all over the room, playing with the toy on the wall, climbing on the "big kid" scale! It's unbelievable how much changes in just 9 months! I never knew how amazing this job as a Momma would be but I love it!

Noah's First Thanksgiving!

Today was Noah's very first Thanksgiving! He isn't feeling well, so most of the morning when Mom and I were kinda trying to get stuff ready he was crabby. But then he took a good nap and was in a better mood for a while! I ground up some of the turkey in the food processor, a piece of candied sweet potatoe, and he had some mashed taters and a few green beans! He LOVED it all! The real turkey is a little more gritty then the baby food turkey so I was worried but he loved it! I put it on his plate, and gave him a spoon. The spoon was more for me because I was going to feed him while I was eating and instead he picked up the darn spoon and put it in his mouth!! I NEVER expected that, but like my Dad said he seen me do it a million times so he knew what to do with it! He needed a little help with getting the food on it but after that he had it under control! I forgot to take the "after" picture but he had turkey and taters ALL over his face, hair ears you name it! So needless to say we went straight to the tub! It was just easier then trying to wipe him off and still finding turkey 3 hours later, you you catch my drift! He had NO problem with getting a mid day bath since he absolutely LOVES his baths! All in all it was a GREAT day! Dinner was wonderful as usual, my sister made Pumpkin and Pecan pie which were awesome as well! It was a great day with my wonderful family and my growing up too fast son! I believe Noah had a wonderful First Thanksgiving!

9 months old!

Today is Noah's 9 month birthday! I cannot believe it's been 9 months already!! I know I say that all the time, but it's the truth! He's growing beautifully, and developing at a great rate!

He's been crawling since the end of September, at the same time started to pull himself up! Now he can walk across the living room with his walking toy, climb on the surround sound speakers, and take a couple steps all alone! The most steps he took alone was 4, but hey you gotta start some where! He has been saying Mama for a little over a month now! Sometimes that's all he says! Started to wave bye bye although it depends on his mood I guess if he does it or not! He has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on the bottom and I'm pretty sure another one on the bottom is coming in soon! He wouldn't chew on the one side tonight. He loves to play with the music toy and the house that his Cousin Emily gave him since she is a big 4 year old now! He loves loves loves to eat! When it's breakfast lunch or dinner time....don't screw around! He is still only eating 2 tbsp of cereal and 1/2 jar of fruit for breakfast, jar of veggies for lunch and then 1/2 jars of a meat and veggies for supper! He's doing great! He also loves the puff snacks and the Veggie Dip snacks to! I'm sure he'd rather be home with his Mama but he loves Daycare! He always smiles at the teachers which makes me feel good about leaving him there!

Updates for Noah!

Well my sister and Danielle got Noah a lion walk/ride toy for Halloween. At first he could only take a few steps at a time. For the last week, he has been walking from one side of the living room to the other and back! He's doing really good with it! I know it will be a while until he starts walking alone but he's really moving along! He's just awesome :) He says Mama ALL the time!! I love it! He started smacking his lips yesterday (11/10) it's so cute! He has 8 teeth and I think another one is coming in because he's chewing and drooling which is the usual thing for him to do before one makes a appearance! He's just so amazing! I never thought in a million years that being a Mommy would be so fun and rewarding! Don't get me wrong, it's hard work, expensive, and exhausting to but it's all worth it when you get just one big smile and giggle! :)
