Two year pictures!!

Saturday February 18 Grammy and Mommy took Noah for his two year pictures!  I cannot believe that he's going to be two in 4 more days. 

At first he scared us because he was clinging to my leg and didn't want to do the pictures!  He was practicing smiling for this all week long!  But then, after our photographer got a little goofy, ok a lot goofy he loosened up and cooperated for the pictures!

We went to Portrait Innovations again this year, which I don't plan on going back there again!  Honestly both for his first birthday and this year I spent WAY too much money on pictures, and have way to many!  I'll be sending them out to family members to get use of them all! But it is just so hard to choose which one is better then the other!  I'm not a good decision maker when it comes to that!  I knew they had a little John Deere Petal tractor there, so that's why I wanted to take him there!  It was a total hit!  I kinda felt bad because we kept telling him we had a surprise for him and changed his clothes and she got it out from under the cover and he was beaming from ear to ear!  I think he thought it was his!  Now I gotta get him one cause he loved it!!

I cannot really believe that he'll be two in 4 more days.  Really it doesn't seem like it's been two years already!   I gotta say that I am so proud of him though!  He's talking up a storm, in sentences and is so smart!  He has already counted to ten quite a few times, and is kinda working on the alphabet.  The weekend after his birthday I am going to start pushing potty training.  At daycare they put him on the potty sometimes, and so that will be a help in it to!  I can't believe my baby is turning into a big boy!  He's already up to my hip!  He's going to be towering over me when he's older!

It's official, tonight was the cake cutting ceremony to find out the sex of my sister's baby!  I totally thought it was a girl all the way from the beginning, but it's a boy! 

there it is...the BLUE filling!  I would have bet money it would be pink! lol

I'm so happy for them, they will be great Mommy's!  My sister has wanted to be a Mother for a LONG LONG time so I know this is her dream come true and she will do a great job! 

Now we just have to wait till the end of June to get to meet the little guy!!

Cocoa Castle

We haven't done many fantastically fun things lately.  We have been hitting up random playgrounds around every chance we get since we have been having such beautiful weather, and Noah sure doesn't complain about that!  We have also been doing a lot of bike riding!

Yesterday I was off work so Noah and I spent the day together.  We did some shopping at the Hershey Outlets, then Mommy enjoyed a Iced Mocha Latte while Noah enjoyed a heart shaped donut!

Then we went to Cocoa Castle!  This was Noah's first time there!  He fell in love with it and was running all around and didn't want to leave!

I cannot believe in a few short weeks he'll be two already! He's growing so much, talking a lot, his vocabulary has tripled in the past couple weeks! He's Mr. Independent also! "I do it, I do it." That's what I hear all the time! He is simply amazing and I am so proud to call him MY son! I know he's going to make a awesome big cousin to!


 Now just if we could find out what she's having!!  My sister found out today, well would have, but they are having a gender cake made, so we won't find out till Thursday evening when we cut the cake!  I'm so team pink!  I have thought that since the beginning so I guess we'll see if I'm right!

I have been trying the potty training thing, but it's just not working so well.  He goes at school, well sits on the potty at least, and at home.  He has peed on the potty quite a few times, and he even pooped once which I think was a pure accident but hey it counts!  I'm not to worried about it right now, but once he turns two then I'm pushing hard for it!  They say they really won't do it if they aren't ready, so I guess we'll see!  He has a lot of underwear already, so I think he'll be ready to wear them!  He knows when he's going so I don't think it will be that hard.  I don't know, who am I trying to kid!

First Trip to the Library!

This morning Noah and Mommy went to the Library for the very first time!  I was a little worried, because the child is never quiet!  I guess times have changed and they don't expect you not to make a peep!  It was nice the kids and adult sections were on opposite sides of the place so I guess that makes it nice!  Noah loves books, and loves to be read to!  I'm so happy about that, it's always good to have a little reader!

This was before he seen the little play area with a train table and soft fun looking place to read books!  He went crazy when he seen that!  He screamed twice and both times were fun screams!  I was so embarrassed!

He really enjoyed it!  He only did those two screams, and when we were checking out he kinda had a mini meltdown because he didn't want to go! I should have waited until after he took his nap, next time!

Baptism- May 1, 2011

On May 1, 2011 Noah was Baptised Catholic.  I know he was a little old to be just getting baptised but I really don't know why I waited!  I guess I missed updating this important milestone in Noah's life!

I feel so much better since I got him Baptised.  Honestly I do!  After this we went to Bob Evans for lunch.  It was a beautiful day out as well.

Cabela's

Today our adventure with Grammy and Poppy was to Cabela's!  We started out the adventure with a pit stop at McDonald's drive thru for some quick on the go breakfast, then started the hour long trek to Hamburg, PA! 

Noah was so happy on the drive up there, I thought for sure he'd take a cat nap but he didn't!  He was a little ham!

I have never been to Cabela's before, my parents have been there like twice before.  That place is absolutely awesome!  I know Noah loved looking at everything!  They have a aquarium in there to, but Noah was starting to fall asleep in the cart so we didn't walk through that only because we didn't want to torture him!  It was awesome, and we will definately have to go back again!

Noah was really well behaved today, all day long!  I was surprised myself!  He only slept the hour ride home from Cabela's, probably should have taken another little nap but didn't and was fine!  Mommy had a afternoon snack, and Noah of course wanted some!  He actually ate and liked liverworst!  Not sure if that's spelled correctly or not.  The boy will eat anything!

For dinner my Mom made the most amazing lasagna ever!  Her's is always good but for some reason tasted exceptionally good tonight!  Picture Perfect!  Thanks Mom ;)
