Happy Morther's Day!

My 3rd Mother's Day, was Marvelous!  I gotta say, it wasn't about gifts, or where we went, it was about the people I spent the day with!  That would have been some of the most important people in my life, my wonderful Mother, my own wonderful son, and my sister who is soon in a month or so going to be a Mother for the very first time herself!  It was a great day, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!

I started my day off with Noah climbing into my bed and waking me up, quite early might I add!  I said to him "Buddy, why don't you lay down with Momma for a little bit, it's Mother's Day?"  He said "Oh ok, it's Mother's day? Happy Mother's day Mommy!"  "I'm going to tell Poppy Happy Mother's Day when he wakes up ok?!"  I laughed, I don't think I ever laughed so hard, because he said it the most serious way ever!  So then I attempted to explain the difference of Mother's Day and Father's Day, and Mommy's and Daddy's and Grammy's and Poppy's he knows the difference been boys and girls but he's only two so he's not quite getting the difference of the important days yet!  It was so cute, because he sure did tell him Happy Mother's Day to!
We exchanged cards with Grammy, and Noah got Mommy the nicest book!  I love it!  I love anything that boy gets me, or makes for me, which daycare made a bunch of nice gifts for me this year!  I'll post those pics as well!
I <3 it!
My card and gift
I

The above was hooked to a bag full of little bags with random things in it!  It is the cutest thing, and really touched my heart!  I love the plaque to!  I want to hang it up, or else find something to set it on!  I love everything Noah's teachers do for the children!  I appreciate it all, it captures something that will never be the same ever again!

I love the book, I love the things that my Mom took the time to write inside the book, and that she took the time to let Noah sign it to!  I love it!

We then went to my sister's to pick her up, and look through the baby stuff from the shower which was Saturday.  Then we went shopping a little and then out to lunch!  To one of my new favorite places to go, and Noah's Fiesta Mexico!
My Mother, I love her with all my heart, she's the best!
My sister is going to be a wonderful mother to Parker!
My newest favorite meal, Chicken Fajita Taco Salad!
It's the little things
These are the times I love being a Mommy
It's the little things that mean so much!  Trust me if two years ago, well over two years ago you would have told me that I would be looking forward to watching a child jump in puddles while getting soaked, or playing on the floor with cars, or singing big green tractor in the car, or listening to it for that matter over and over and over again I would have told you or anyone else they were full of crap! But I have come to realize that it really is the little things, the five extra minutes you take to walk to the car just so Noah can walk on the wall and jump off the end, or walking two cars past your car because he just wants to jump in that one big puddle!  It's all worth it because someday, in a few years he's not going to want to do any of those things, and I'm going to want him to want to do them!  So I'm taking what I can get!  He might frustrate me at times, but what two year old can't do that to their Mommy, but I love him more than life itself and I wouldn't have it or my life any other way!  I couldn't be happier to have been chosen by God to be his Mommy!  I'm one lucky Momma, I'm blessed, I count my blessings and thank God every single day believe me.  There has not been one day that has gone by since he's been born that I haven't thanked God for him, because I know without him, I wouldn't have Noah!  I have MS, I haven't been dealing with this awful life long disease even for a full year yet, it's tested me, it really has. I have kept it to myself, that's just the type of person I am.  I truly believe that God doesn't give you more than you can handle, I am strong enough to handle being a single Mother which is one of the hardest jobs ever, and being a single Mother with MS.  I'm blessed to have a wonderful family by my side, and a even more wonderful family and Father to my child in Heaven watching over me and my son everyday and giving me strength to get through each day without that, I won't know where I'd be!

My sister's Baby Shower

Today was finally the day!  The day of my sister's baby shower!  My Mom and I put so much into planning this so that everything would be perfect, or well as perfect as it could be that we were about at each other's throats!  My Dad helped to, he helped with set up, and of course with money, as Daddy's always do!
It was a total surprise for my sister!  Unfortunately we had to tell Danielle or else we couldn't have been able to get them both at the hall!  So she did a great job of keeping it a secret, and helping us out with excuses to be in certain places at certain times!  Thanks Danielle!

Our gifts, and a few that were given prior to the shower.

The awesome diaper cake I made!

Made for us by 16 yr old daughter of a co worker of my Mom's!  She does awesome stuff!

So keeping her in mind next time I need something, I have heard about her cakes!

My Momma

Lookin' good for Parker!

I told my sister the other week that I had to work Mother's Day weekend, which of course meant that they couldn't go to camp because they would have to watch him for me!  So it all kinda worked out well!  So they were over for dinner last night, took Noah home with them, we were texting today like I was really at work and that we were going to meet for lunch when I got off.  Instead, Danielle "forgot" something at her work and had to go get it, which made her then drive up by the hall to head to Toys R Us for Noah, which in return made her see this.....
Minus me standing there of course!
Then Mom and I and some others were standing outside with another surprise sign!  My sister was crying tears of joy!  She was actually surprised which made me the most happy!  I was worried, I know my sister, and I know it's hard to get stuff past her!
We ate, played a few games, then opened gifts.

The kids love gifts even if they aren't their own!

I'm so happy my sister finally gets to be a Mommy, she's always wanted this!

The cutest, owl hat and sweater!

diaper cupcakes!

awesome blanket a family friend Vicky made!

Happy Mommies!

We kinda did the cake with the food, since it was just cupcakes.  I ordered the cake and cupcakes from my supervisor at work, and they turned out awesome!  They looked great and tasted wonderful to!  The cake was just for my sister and Danielle and the cupcakes were for everyone else.

They were just setting up when I took this picture.
My sister has this obsession with baby feet, so that's the theme of the shower we went with.  We found the baby butt cake online and thought it was cute so I asked if she could recreate and she said yes!  I'm so glad it came out good!  It turned out better than even the picture!
I'm glad my sister was surprised, I'm glad that we had a good turn out despite it being Mother's Day weekend and all.  She got lots of nice gifts, Parker had enough to get him started and on his way to a great childhood!

I can't wait to meet my little Nephew!  She's due June 25th, they are talking of her going early but we don't know yet.  I want him to come when he's ready, and healthy!  Today was officially a success, and I couldn't be more happier!  Now off to bed for me!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there!

Camp 2012

Saturday was our first trip up to our camp this year!  I actually wasn't looking forward to going to camp.  I was going to stay home, but then since Noah likes it so much I decided I'd suck it up and just go.  Then Friday morning I woke up with pink eye!  GREAT!  That's going through Noah's daycare, I gotta say this is the first time that I caught something before Noah!  Thank God cause this is miserable!  To make things worse it took the Dr until about 4 to get my medicine!  Then Saturday I woke up with it in my other eye, and I don't think the drops are working!  ANYWAY......
Noah absolutely LOVES it at camp without a doubt!  This year he is a lot better than last year!  Last year he was shy acting, this year he was all about being up top with the other kids! What's the first thing Noah did when he got to camp??  Golf cart ride up to the mountain!!

You'll never guess what happened on the top of the mountain.  As usual Pop gets off the golf cart and takes a picture of Noah, a ritual since he was a few weeks old.  Well now that Pop has been letting Noah drive....Noah decided to push on the gas which made Pop move and pull muscles he hasn't used in a while to stop it or attempt to!  It's not funny at all, but in hindsight it actually is!  Thankfully Noah listens to Pop so when he said Noah stop he listened otherwise he might have just hit a tree! below is Noah telling the story!
Every time we got to camp, Noah always without fail gets a bruise on his head!  Never fails, it always happens!  This time it happened while Noah and Mommy were laying down, well suppose to be laying down to rest and take a nap watching Cars.  He was goofing off and smacked his head right into the divider between the dinette and the couch in the camper.  Ouch!
It was pure melt down when it happened let me tell you.  Lets just say this little guy did NOT take a nap at all Saturday!  He and I went for a golf cart ride to the pond to look for frogs and he fell asleep but woke up when the kids yelled "Noah!" on the way back through! So he slept all of 5 minutes maybe!

Mommy lost the bottom piece of her phone taking this picture....too bad I didn't realize it until after the fact.  Can't find it.  Now I get the lucky task of dealing with AT&T about it tomorrow!

Noah had a lot of fun with Cody aka Shaggy, Bryce and Logan.  I'm glad they were all there!  Thanks to Chad and Michelle who let him ride the Gator!  He loved that!  He calls Chad, Uncle Chad now!

his new buddy Cody helping him in the trampoline

John Deere? Gator?  Sure!

4 wheela! lol

he's like "pleaseeeeee stop taking my picture Mom"

"I had to get my hat"

On the way home, knocked out before we were on the main road!

I have to say that despite having pink eye, in both eyes I had a good time!  Noah had a blast even though we were only there for one day and night this time I think he had so much fun!  He didn't want to stop!  We put a movie on to go to sleep, it wasn't even a 1/4 of the way on and he was out!  He played hard, as usual!  He's all boy, he never stops!  If he has to he'll run in circles to pas the time!  God bless him!
