My weekend (well our weekend) with our favorite little boys!

This weekend we got to spend with Parker!  It was a truly AWESOME weekend with both boys which behaved awesomely, is that a word?  I think I just made up a word!  Oh well!  Anyway, Saturday morning we started out just being outside doing random things, playing on the swing set, pretending to drive the golf cart, pretending to drive the big tractor and the little tractor which was charging, all the while Noah was riding his bike on and off.  Poppy was cutting grass so both boys took turns riding with him helping, then Grammy started digging out some plants and weeds and Noah was helping with that.
then we tried our hand at some over sized badminton (Noah and I) needless to say that was just more laughs than anything!

after badminton! lol
It's so hilarious how so much alike Noah and Parker are, when Noah was about 2 he was OBSESSED with Tractors, any kind or color of a tractor he wanted it, matter of fact his 2nd birthday was his birthday party theme!  Parker will be 2 in June and he is now obsessed with tractors!  So ALL weekend it was "Pop tractor ride?"  "Tractor ride Pop?"  So Pop took the boys on the lawn mower early and then later in the evening on the big tractor!

They played so well together all weekend it was so great!  Sunday morning I went to Church, Noah didn't want to go with since Parker was here he was afraid he'd miss something!  So he stayed home!  When I got home then we attempted to take a nap, however that did not work out, so then we packed Parker up and his things called his Mom's and told them that we were headed to Possibility Place, which is near their house.  So we meant them there to give them back their son!  It turned out good and the boys got a lot of energy out! We were there playing about a half hour before my sister and Danielle got there, Parker was so happy to see them!

After this we ended up heading home, got there around 5, ate some dinner then went back outside.  Ended up packing up the bikes and heading to Londonderry to ride a little and play on the playgrounds to!  But before all that, we took a selfie!

I love that boy more than the earth itself, I have no idea what I'd do without him since I have him!  He never ceases to amaze me!  This week he has been very well behaved all around, only had 2 days of not so good color cards at school but at home has been great!  I couldn't be more proud!  Fingers crossed that the rough patch with his behavior is over!  I don't know.  knock on wood.  We will see we have been to the behavior specialist twice and have a 3rd appt in June so we'll see how it goes till then, maybe that will be the last time I take him, maybe I won't keep taking him there.  Who knows.  Wait and see.

Until then, I hope that everyone is doing well am is having many blessings.  Remember God Loves you and you are a Bulldog.  (That was a little something that was in the Bible school video and class that we all did today, the one pitcher Bulldog is who they were talking about and at the end she said tell someone that God loves them and they are a Bulldog because sometimes just one person giving a little encouragement is all someone needs, and it's true.)

Mother's Day 2014

So all the Mother's Day celebrations really started Friday May 9th at Noah's PreSchool Mothers Day Tea! This year because the class is so big and there was so many peop;e coming, they held it out in the young toddler playground! It was a beautiful day, so it was perfect! Noah's daycare has preschool for 3-4 year olds and then they move up to Pre-K which is where he is headed in June! He's growing up!

he's so sweet!

Gifts he made, he was in Preschool last year so he made me the same! I love it still!

fingerprint flower!
Saturday May 10th, my sister, Danielle, my Mom and I went to The Melting Pot for dinner!  Really we were treating my Mom for Mother's Day, but secretly even though we had to pay the bill we were also getting treated to!  It was My Mom and I's first time there ever, my sister and Danielle were there before.  I must say that it was the best experience, the food was awesome!  I would definately go back again for another special occasion!

Finally Sunday really Mothers Day!  Noah and I started the day going to Church where he planted me a flower and made me a card, with a little help of course!

forget the hammer, lol
Then we headed over to my sisters, and hung out there with Parker and her for the day!  We had Pizza and Subs for lunch nothing too spectacular but was good enough for me!  Then the boys played outside for a little, Danielle got home and we were going to go to Stauffers to search for plants and flowers for our Mothers Day gifts, and Danielle said The Meadows were having $1 any menu item for Moms all day, so we went there after we went to stauffers!

Mothers Day selfie with my boy! ( I promise the shirt was washed between Friday and Sunday! lol)

Noah actually took this one of us!  He didn't do too bad!

My handsome little nephew!

Custard cone

They were getting a little crazy, running around but they were having fun!

I picked out a yellow rose bush, I guess Noah approves!

I had the best weekend, I couldn't think of any better way to spend it!  I was with my family and that's really all that mattered!  I'm blessed!  I wonder what's to come in the coming year.  We will see!

Life lately

Well life has been busy lately to say the least! Noah has really been showing his naughty side for the past month or two. He just started going to a behavior specialist, so far I'm not sure that it's totally working although we have only had one appointment. He's just so strong willed, and is totally worried about doing what he wants when he wants. He doesn't like the word "no" and when he isn't concerned with what you want him to do at the time, he will totally ignore you! When he gets mad or doesn't like what you asked him to do he'll scream at you, throw a real fit, worse than he ever did as a younger child. He has a real issue at times controlling his anger, and if he's agitated will just lash out at whoever is in his way, me, Grammy, Poppy friends at school. Something has to give soon. It is very hard to handle at times, especially because he can be so sweet and such a good listener at times. It really breaks my heart to have to take him to a behavior specialist for help but honestly he is almost out of control. Sometimes I just wonder if his Dad was still alive and in his life if he'd be different, but then again it might not make a difference.

I have been going to Church where Noah attended DAWGS club on Wednesdays. I really like it there it's a Methodist Church which I was baptized Catholic but only really attended Catholic Church growing up. I feel like I found my home. I'm so happy, I try to bring Noah with me as well if he doesn't want to go I don't make him because I don't want him to not like Church. Everyone is so nice there, I couldn't ask for anything better! DAWGS (Dynamic And Wiggly God Seekers) club is over as of last Wednesday until about September, Noah loved it but now I will have more time to do fun stuff.

I just paid off my car finally just today! I am forever thankful for that! It took 6 long years but finally I can say it's over and breathe!

My nephew Parker is doing great! He was just here last weekend for the night! Even though Noah sometimes has some jealousy issues he loves Parker so much!

The first day we went to the behavior specialist we went afterwards to meet up with Noah's buddy Brody and his Nanny from DAWGS!  They had a great time and spent about 3 hours at Chuck E Cheese!  We are so going to do that again!  We all had a blast!

Dispite Noah's behavior lately and him just about constantly stressing me out, I love him more than anything in this entire world and wouldn't trade him for anything!  I'm hoping that something starts to click soon with this specialist that it helps otherwise we are not going to keep going and will be trying another route because I am really at a loss!  time out he could care less about, and taking things away same thing.  but we will see how it goes.

Monster Truck Show = Epic Fail for Mommy!

On March 8th, I thought I had the most awesome surprise for Noah....and I did....except for one thing....SENSITIVE EARS!! I had bought tickets to the Monster Truck show that was taking place at the farm show complex, Noah LOVES Monster Trucks-all the ones he has as toys is a good indicator! Well I know that sometimes he is always covering his ears an>d saying some things are too loud, but I never thought that the big ear muff things wouldn't be good enough for Noah....not just those but also wax ear plugs underneath! He still cried and kicked his feet and had big crocodile tears coming down his face and after the 2nd time he did that we got up and left. Yep a total of about 15 minutes at the show! But you know what, he loved seeing the trucks just couldn't stand the noise.
So it broke my heart that he couldn't stay and enjoy the whole show, because he was excited when he knew why we were there! But it was ok that we only spent 15 minutes in there he definatly has good ears! Lesson learned mom!

My baby turned 4?!?!?!

So yeah I am not at all sure where exactly four years went, but it was official at 12:30AM February 24th that Noah did in fact turn 4 years old! He is one smart, silly, handsome, quick witted, energetic (to say the least), his favorite things now are switch & go dinos, Minions, Sheriff Callie on Disney, Octonats (again!) and finally his most favorite...mine and my Mom's Kindles! Yes he has more games on them then we do put together! That's exactly why I just ordered the newest version of the Kindle off QVC, so he will be one happy boy to have his own!

Every year I say it, "where did the time go?" and every year I definitely mean it! I really feel like the years are just flying right on by! He is totally all boy, and I cannot wait until the weather gets a little warmer and no more snow so we can do more outside! He LOVES it outside, and I love the fact he loves it outside! He's so active which is wonderful. He loves to ride his 4wheeler to, so he'll get to ride that a little more when it's warmer out.

I have this yearly tradition of taking him to breakfast on his Birthday at Bob Evans. This started on his first Birthday and I have done it every year since. My sister and Danielle usually join us as well, this year only my sister could. Danielle was stuck at work.

Our Great Birthday Adventure:

Stop 1: Breakfast at Bob Evans with Mommy, Aunt Chrissy, and Parker.

Stop 2: Build a Bear Workshop!

this was his first time there, and he was so shy!

I should have gotten a picture of that white board but she put his name on there for his birthday!

Parker made a Doggie to!

Stop 3: Turkey Hill Experience

he wanted to do this, after he said "eww gross" ha ha

Parker and his Mama

Having his free Chocolate Ice Cream!

yeah I know, oh my what germs these boys got from the ball pit......

........might explain why Noah had 103.7 fever Monday night......

whee....Aunt Brina can catch a nephew and take a picture!

Stop 4: Was going to be: Let's Pretend, then Chocolate World, but finally Noah said " Chrissy I want to go to your house to play with Parker and his toys."  So we went there they played, ate lunch and watched some Netflix.

The final stop on the Great Birthday Adventure, was home for a little party!

Opening his Monster Trucks from Grammy and Poppy

Now, the Spiderman gift he was dying to open since dinner!

Aunt Chrissy made his turn is circles and everything before he could open it!

He's in heaven!

I got him 3 moves, a booster seat, some clothes.  Not to mention a lot more that I keep saying is part of his Birthday present....ha ha

His Pug he cleverly named after our Pug "Frankie"  YES it had to have a dog bed and brush!

Grammy left him (helped him) cut his first piece of cake!

Mr. Parker was giving his hair a treatment with chocolate cake and icing after he painted his arm!

Noah had a good day, actually he told me he had a awesome day!  My sister and I were not at all impressed with the Turkey Hill Experience.  We both thought there was more to do there, literally what pictures I have was pretty much all there was besides making your own commercial and ice cream flavor which costs more.  There was a little bit more to walk through and see, very little bit but nothing major.  The kids liked the ball pit and the slide!  The plus side is you can have all the ice cream and drinks you want while your there, who would go crazy with ice cream when there isn't like that much to do, especially with little ones I have no idea but whatever!  We did get a scoop of ice cream and I got a cup of Lemonade because it was so dry in there.  But I never ever have to go back there again!  My Mom said if you and your sister were bored then the kids had fun!

End of the day, Noah was burning up, like on fire just about literally.  So I took his temperature under his arm and at 102.7 he got restless and was rustling around so I stopped.  You add a degree so his temp was AT LEAST 103.7 last night.  He was crying he was tired and stuff, so I ended up sleeping with him because I was scared he'd have a seizure or something, he was already shaking when he finally did fall asleep.  I said a prayer and laid down close to him and thankfully nothing bad happened during the night.  I was suppose to go back to work today, but called off to be with him because he was so clingy and so not himself.  There is no way that I could have worked today.  He would have never let me.  But the good news is, is that he is fever free now and as of this evening acting totally normal.  I mean so normal, the threat of a time out was brought up!  So back to daycare for him in the morning, and back to work for me to!

I totally cannot believe that by baby boy turned 4 already, time sure does fly.  He knows how to test my patience at times, but I would not trade him for the world!
