Thursday we went to the Ocean City boardwalk, and walked around Sunfest tents, Noah did the bounce things they had set up for kids, which actually cost money to do, strange but I guess nothing is free anymore! Noah won a Angry Bird from one of the claw machines, actually all by himself! We had some Thrasher fries and Dough Roller pizza for dinner.
Friday we went to Rohoboth Boardwalk, lame! We had dinner at the Green Turtle that night which was great! Noah got a Root Beer there, and says he had a beer! Hope he doesn't say that to the wrong person!
Saturday we drove over the bridge and went to the outlets, again! We stopped at some in DE on the way down and shopped! We had a fun time! Noah got so brave in the pool, kept dunking himself! He got really good at holding his breath! He absolutely LOVED the beach! He played in the sand, and was running in the water! I think he liked the sand better, Friday after we were only at the beach for about 2 hours, he said "Mom can we go to the big pool, you know without the waves now?" Gotta love him! This was Parker's 5th or so trip to the beach so it was whatever to him! But he played in the sand, and went into the water a little bit to. Everyday he took a nap on the beach! I gotta say that it really was a great vacation, Noah didn't want to leave Sunday when it was time to go!
Saturday night, Noah got a high fever. His body was so hot, the thermometer under his arm was up to 101.1 still didn't beep but I had to just take it out because he was going to end up waking up and freaking out. I was out watching TV with everyone, then went to bed, Noah was shaking and he was on fire but cold. I went out and told my Mom and she came in to see him. I don't know if it was shivers or maybe mini seizure or something but it was scary. Mom and Chris ran out to see if they could get him medicine, ended up just getting Tylenol and he wouldn't just take it. That's been since about 2 yrs old, we have to mix it with Sprite and tell him it's cherry sprite, even with antibiotics. Thankfully he's not a sickly kid. But he didn't drink it until this morning. He seemed rather peeked the whole way home, and he hasn't eaten, then we got home he seen his Poppy whom he missed dearly while we were gone, wanted Mac and Cheese ended up eating 3 servings, was outside riding his tractor, bike, scooter even got a Kubota ride with Pop, seems ok. Hopefully that lasts! We are off Monday as well so he has another day home before he goes back to school Tuesday. Hopefully everything is out of his system and he's better for sure by then!
We had a great vacation, I'm so thankful that I was able to take Noah to the beach for the first time and see the joy in his face! That was really priceless!
