Cherry Crest Farms

Today Grammy Mommy and Noah ventured to Cherry Crest Farms! It was a nice drive to Ronks, past Strasburg. Traffic was horrid on the way down! Thankfully Noah fell asleep! We ended up having a blast! Noah loved the animals the most, next I think was the bounce pillows! I don't really know what he liked more, bouncing on the pillows....on bouncing off to the sand! He got to go through a straw maze, which was probably dark and kinda scary for him, but he did it two or three times! He played on the playground there, did the straw obstacle course like 100 times! He was actually very well behaved all day! I had a fun day just watching him! It was hotter than I thought it was going to be and of course everything was in the sun, and he was sweaty and bright red most of the day! But he's a boy, a rough boy he didn't mind at all!
coming out of the straw maze
I think he liked holding the baby chicks best because we went back twice for that!  We got the pleasure of seeing just hatched chicks as well!  That was pretty neat although none were hatching while we were standing there!  Actually Noah loved all the animals, especially when he got to feed them!

We stopped at Burger King on the way home for dinner, he was a hungry boy ate his cheeseburger and apple slices in 15 minutes!  Then he had a ice cream cone for desert!

After we got home, Noah wanted to go to the playground (yes after being gone and on it ALL DAY), he still had more energy.  So I took him over to the Hershey Christian School to play.  He likes that playground, not as much as Hummelstown but it's close and it was good enough!  So we went there.....and then went to leave....the car wouldn't start!  NICE!  Pop to the rescue!  He came and jumped the car so we could get home, the battery was shot same one that came with the car so it's 5 years old.  At least we weren't far away!  What a way to end a great day!

August Randomness

I cannot believe that it's August already!  Really come on, where is this year going??  The summer is flying by and lately it's feeling more like Fall than Summer!  But I'm not really minding that too much!  I can't really take the heat that well since this MS hit me, well more the humidity.

My Little man had been growing and changing like nobodies business!  He's actually just lately starting to showing his imagination, it's coming out when he doesn't think anyone is really listening when he's making his cars or people talk to each other.  It's pretty neat. At the same time though  Noah has been a bit of a pickle lately....not sure what's exactly up with that.  Guess I am going to start trying other ways to cope, since time outs are really seeming to phase him much.

Parker my awesome Nephew is doing great, growing like a weed!  He's getting cuter by the day just like boys do!  This picture is from his trip to the beach last month, my sisters caption was "Parker thinks the beach stinks!"

My little cousin Tiffany had her baby on 7/28, she was way early not due until October. But due to Health issues with Pre Eclapsia she was forced to deliver early. After being born at only 1lb 8oz and having a few scary moments she is doing very well and is one feisty little girl! Gabriella Marie. She's just like her Mama!

I am now working from home. The only thing that isn't set up yet is the phone. Well it's set up, but the line has to be recorded so I don't know what the hold up is with that. Maybe this week....going on week 3. Who knows. We'll see! Life is good can't much complain! Someone somewhere has it worse off than I do. I have learned to count my blessings. Because the Blessings I already have someone else is wishing they had. I'm trying this whole positive outlook on life thing. So far it is really turning out to be alot better for me than before! Duh! Happy August!

end of July...already??

I cannot believe it's the end of July already, seems like we just past the 4th!  It's a crazy world, and 2013 is the fastest year so far!  Noah spent 4th of July at camp with Grammy and Pop.  Wednesday through Sunday he was there, while Mommy had to work Friday and Saturday!  He had a blast, as usual!
Since then we have been swimming in the old pool our neighbor gave us a year or two ago.  The top ring won't stay blown up however, it holds water, and it's awesome enough to cool off!  Noah LOVES it!

We got to spend some time with Kailyn, Noah loves spending time with KK!  We hung out at home, went to Sweet Frog, and Kailyn and I tried Kiwi, and we decided Sweet Frog was better!  That's frozen yogurt places!

We stopped by a neat little playground on the way home, back way home from 39.  I forget what the name of this little park is but it was nice!

he said "Kailyn help me I'm scared!"

<3 her="">

Kailyn and Noah swam to but I don't have pictures of that!  Kailyn also has a Kindle so Noah kept bugging her to watch something or play something!  She was a good sport and shared!

We seen Parker to while Kailyn was here, and she took some nice pictures of herself to!

We have had a pretty great July so far!  I won Hersheypark tickets from Bob 94.9 last month, and I have until the end of September to use them.  I'm thinking I'll see if KK can come when we go so that if Noah needs someone to ride with him for anything she will go!  I don't do rides, Carosl makes me sick! I'll do the kissing tower and antique cars, HA HA  It will be fun whenever we decide to go.  We are already going to the beach in September, so I'll probably do it end of August or so.

I was having some issues with Noah not being so well behaved at school which then carried over to home.  I decided that I was going to make a chart, for good behavior then after a week of good dots, he'll get a star, if he gets all stars then he gets a prize.  So far he's doing so good!  Well on his way to a Turbo toy and a Angry Bird toy! That's what he wants!  We'll see, hopefully this will really work and this isn't just a fluke.  I say to him at night, isn't it better to listen and be good that way your not on time out and nobody is yelling at you.  He just says yes it is.  Hopefully he gets it, I mean he's a smart kid so I know he knows alreadywhat he needs to do, it's just doing it!

Gotta love that kid though, he says some of the darnest things!  I told him tonight at the playground, after he went down the fireman pole ALONE, I mean I didn't help him at all, that he was amazing.  He asked why, I said you just learn so much is such a small amount of time.  I mean last time really that we were at the playground he wouldn't even dare touch the pole, he was so scared!

It's the little things!  I'm one proud Momma with a smart little 3 year old!  Oh and yet another great thing that happened this month, I was approved to work from home!!  So exciting!  I was working on getting approved for that for half a year or so, kept getting excuses, lame excuses.  Get a new supervisor and Manager mention it once, tell all the lies I have been told....my mgr told me that there is absolutely no reason I can't go home, came out that same day submitted the ticket and now things are rolling and I will be home with my equipment and work Internet and phone next week!!  So excited!

Happy 1st Birthday Parker Harrison!

Last Sunday was my little nephews first birthday!  It's crazy how I feel as though his first year went even faster than Noah's first year!  Probably because since Noah has been born the past three years have flown right by!
The week before he had his first birthday photo shoot!  Here are only a few of those pics, I can't wait until this weekend when I think my sister is suppose to get the rest!

Love this face shot!

little artist!
Saturday the 22nd was his party, it was held at the East Hanover Township park.  It's so nice there, covered pavilion, 2 playgrounds for the kids to run, bathrooms, water fountain.  Can't ask for much more!  The weather turned out to be nice, it was suppose to be super humid but it ended up being warm with a constant breeze which kept everything ok.
It was mostly family there, a few of Parker's daycare teachers and friends from school.  It turned out really nice!  Elmo themed party.

oh yes, we beat the crap out of Elmo....

a little bit of fun when the party was wrapping up!

The photographer came and did the party also for two hours I believe it was.  My sister should be getting those to this weekend!

Parker is such a cutie!  Growing up too fast!  He's not quite walking alone yet, but it won't be long!  He's moving up to the young toddler room at daycare......he's not a baby anymore sister!  Watch out!

Well my sister got the first year of Motherhood down, as did Danielle.  I guess they are good to go now!

Happy Father's Day!

Sunday was Father's Day.  Of course, Noah doesn't have his Daddy here to celebrate with, but we went to the cemetery to visit on Saturday and drop off a little something.  Despite the fact that suddenly all the stuff that Noah MADE, painted himself and such went missing.  Which is rather irritating, I mean I find it rude to take stuff away from a grave site that you didn't put there, unless it's something that has gotten gross, like fake flowers or something.  Well these things were not something that got gross!  Just stuff that someone was plain rude and heartless and removed.  They also took a cross that Noah actually picked out himself at the store for him (I was impressed!).  I'm still a little bit furious over this, and my blood begins to boil every time I start thinking about it.  Every time we go there, Noah always crowches down and talks to Jeff's picture on his stone.  It's as if he's talking to him.  This time he said "Happy Fathers Day Daddy Love you, Why do you let someone take stuff I make for you away cause that's not nice.  Do you like fruties?"  It was so random.  He can be so heartbreaking.  I remember a time he went there and he was like "Daddy don't worry it's ok  I'll be back to visit I promise!"  Everytime it brings tears to my eyes.  I wish that Noah would get to see pictures of his Dad when he was young cause he looked just like him!  I remember at the funeral looking through photo albums and Krista and I broke down crying because  looking at the pictures was like looking at Noah, even my Mom said so.  It's a shame that he will never know his Daddy, but I am doing the best I can to let him know his Daddy as he grows....

My Dad had a great Father's Day!  We started the day with some cards, and he was outside with Noah for a little.  Then my sister, Danielle and Parker came over, and we had a Father's Day cook in.  Steak, shrimp, clams, veggie mix.  It was bangin'!  He enjoyed it!  As did everyone else!
I think this year as last year was a hard one for my Dad cause 2 years ago my Grandpa passed away the  before Father's day.  That's something I don't think anyone can really forget.  I mean the date changes but you still remember.  This year it was Tuesday the 18th.  It's still hard for my
Dad.  Well Happy Father's Day Pop Zinn in heaven!

Happy Father's Day Dad, Thanks for everything you for us.  Thanks for the time you spend with Noah.  He really looks up to you.  I appreciate everything you do.  Thanks.
Love you!
