Santa Claus brought Noah a little saucer sled for Christmas, perfect timing Santa! Kailyn helped make a trail down the little hill in the yard and he enjoyed his first few trips sledding! He enjoyed more just throwing himself down in the snow I think, but hey, what can I say?!
taking a break! |
love him! |
Sunday he was watching videos on the laptop as I was waiting for the breakfast casserole to get done we were trying....he looked like such a little man!
One thing is for sure, my boy is growing up! He's been saying and doing some of the funniest things! I don't know where it came from but he keeps saying "I sure do, It sure does, Sure enough" It's so cute! I'll ask did you have a good day at school today? he'll respond "sure did Mama" Or at dinner we'll ask if something is good and he'll say "it sure is!"
Last evening he was throwing himself down on the floor and then standing up and brushing himself off and saying "what did someone push me down on something?" He's been saying that funny stuff a lot! He's becoming a lot more independent on a daily basis! He's slowly learning to get fully undressed however getting dressed is a lot harder....things end up backwards and he gets frustrated and gives up. So that will take a little more time! I'm super proud of him though! He's been fully potty trained since 2 1/2 besides at bedtime which that could take years. Every kid is different, sometimes he wakes up dry other times soaked so he still gets a overnight pull up for bed, and nap he gets a pull up to but is 9 times out of 10 dry when he gets up!
He's getting better and better with his counting, we are working on letter recognition in the bathtub since he got the foam letters. He's a bright kid.

I'm a proud Mommy!
I'll leave you with this.....when we went to CVS to get his script the other Friday after his Dr appt, we were walking around the store waiting for it to get done....he wanted to get a car (last thing he needs) so we went looking and he blurted out "Mama you can get some ultra strong" I glanced over to see Charmin Ultra Strong sitting right there and Noah pointing......amazed and half flabbergasted I said how did you know what that was? He laughed, but seriously it was like he read the freaking package! THEN we were at Giant this was the next week, walking down the toilet paper aisle and what does he say? "Mama you can get some Charmin Ultra Strong!" YES he actually said the whole thing....amazed....lol I'm guessing he memorized it from the commercial? I have no other explanation unless he's a genius!
