Blessed

I don't know what it is, why every once in a while I get smacked in the face with the fact that I am one lucky person. Unlucky on many different levels, and when it comes to luck...it's rare that good luck comes my way! But God blessed me with one heck of a smart, loving, handsome, energetic, healthy little boy. He amazes me on a daily basis, there is nothing he cannot do. He has learned so much in his short 3 1/2 years of life and when people say that kids don't remember things....they are wrong! Noah remembers a lot more than he probably should! Just tonight he said to me "Hey Momma, do you remember when we went to the Circus and I got that motorcycle, and we seen the dragon there?" Really? That was like 2 summers ago. He is always saying about doing something that happened a while back and it's like, for real?

For anyone who doesn't believe in miracles, obliviously isn't a parent. I remember still to this day seeing the "confirmation" ultrasound and he was like a little jellybean with little arm buds....every time there after he looked more and more like a baby. He truly is a gift from God. The best gift I could have ever asked for.

I may not have his Father here, but I know he's shining down on us everyday and smiling. I may not have the support of his Father's family on my/our side, and trust for the the longest time that bothered me more than anyone could know. But now I have come to realize that it is totally their loss, their loss to not know the other little life their son made before he left this earth too soon. Maybe it was meant to be this way, maybe God knew his time was going to be up. We will never know. All I know is that Noah has everything and more that he could ever need or want! I will always do whatever I can for him! He is my pride and joy, there is nothing I wouldn't do for him. We don't need anyone that thinks they don't need us!

I feel blessed everyday, regardless of obstacles in life. But days like today, I do a little extra thanking the man upstairs! Blessed I am!

Beach Vacation, Noah's first!

Our vacation was perfect!  We went to the beach Wednesday through Sunday.  Mom, Chris, Danielle, Parker and Noah and I went.  It was perfect, perfect weather, perfect days in general!  The temperature was perfect as well, it wasn't too hot or cold.  Rain was only in the forecast for Saturday, but it ended up not raining until we were already in the room for the night!   We started everyday with the beach, then went to the indoor pool, then back up to the room for the boys to have naps.

Thursday we went to the Ocean City boardwalk, and walked around Sunfest tents, Noah did the bounce things they had set up for kids, which actually cost money to do, strange but I guess nothing is free anymore!  Noah won a Angry Bird from one of the claw machines, actually all by himself!  We had some Thrasher fries and Dough Roller pizza for dinner.

Friday we went to Rohoboth Boardwalk, lame!  We had dinner at the Green Turtle that night which was great!  Noah got a Root Beer there, and says he had a beer!  Hope he doesn't say that to the wrong person!

Saturday we drove over the bridge and went to the outlets, again!  We stopped at some in DE on the way down and shopped!  We had a fun time!  Noah got so brave in the pool, kept dunking himself!  He got really good at holding his breath!  He absolutely LOVED the beach!  He played in the sand, and was running in the water!  I think he liked the sand better, Friday after we were only at the beach for about 2 hours, he said "Mom can we go to the big pool, you know without the waves now?"  Gotta love him!  This was Parker's 5th or so trip to the beach so it was whatever to him!  But he played in the sand, and went into the water a little bit to.  Everyday he took a nap on the beach!  I gotta say that it really was a great vacation, Noah didn't want to leave Sunday when it was time to go!

Saturday night, Noah got a high fever.  His body was so hot, the thermometer under his arm was up to 101.1 still didn't beep but I had to just take it out because he was going to end up waking up and freaking out.  I was out watching TV with everyone, then went to bed, Noah was shaking and he was on fire but cold.  I went out and told my Mom and she came in to see him.  I don't know if it was shivers or maybe mini seizure or something but it was scary.  Mom and Chris ran out to see if they could get him medicine, ended up just getting Tylenol and he wouldn't just take it.  That's been since about 2 yrs old, we have to mix it with Sprite and tell him it's cherry sprite, even with antibiotics.  Thankfully he's not a sickly kid.  But he didn't drink it until this morning.  He seemed rather peeked the whole way home, and he hasn't eaten, then we got home he seen his Poppy whom he missed dearly while we were gone, wanted Mac and Cheese ended up eating 3 servings, was outside riding his tractor, bike, scooter even got a Kubota ride with Pop, seems ok.  Hopefully that lasts!  We are off Monday as well so he has another day home before he goes back to school Tuesday.  Hopefully everything is out of his system and he's better for sure by then!

We had a great vacation, I'm so thankful that I was able to take Noah to the beach for the first time and see the joy in his face!  That was really priceless!

Labor Day Weekend

We went to camp for Labor Day weekend, as usual!  We left to go up Saturday, Noah rode up with Poppy in the "Goat Truck"  that would be Pop's Dodge Truck!  Then Mom and I rode up ourselves around 11:30 am Saturday.  I was waiting for my Dr to call me back with a script for a antibiotic.  Once I got that, we were out of here!

Of course Noah got there and got half settled then right away had to ride his four wheeler!  That boy is doing so good riding!  I gotta say, I didn't think this day was going to come, at least not as soon as it did but it has!  He was riding the track around with the other boys on their quads!  The only thing is he take the corners a little fast, he's too funny because he likes to stand up when he goes over bumps and stuff!  He's so becoming a little man!  God Bless him!

The weather was nice, it didn't rain up there at all!  Noah pretty much rode his four wheeler, his bike, and his tractor.  That's all.  He played some games on Cody's phone, got in the river on Sunday with Grammy, Cody and Bryce.  He had a blast!  He loves things that go and water!  He's definitely all boy!
My sister, Danielle, Parker, Michelle, Chad, Cody, Bryce were all there.  Jennie and baby Jayden were there Saturday too.

Here is some pictures now for your viewing pleasure!

Cody and Parker, he loves it!

Pop giving  Noah a bath Sunday evening before bed, he was a dirty boy at camp!

We had a good time, with great family!  We came home Monday, Dad had to stay back a little longer than Mom and I because Noah wanted to ride his four wheeler before they left!  He doesn't get to ride it as much as he does at camp at home so trust me he got quite a few miles on that baby!

I don't know when we will go up next, because this weekend Dad has to work, Mom is going to Michigan to see some very important family Uncle Tony and Aunt Mary,  Saturday morning Noah and I are having our pictures taken which I am so excited for!  They are going to do something very special for us, I cannot wait!  First I prayed for nice weather so we could have the shoot outside, and that has worked, now I just hope that the pictures turn out wonderful!
