Goodbye 2013 Hello 2014

I gotta say this has been one heck of a year! Nothing too major happened, Baby Gabriella was born about 3 months early weighing only 1 lb 8oz and being about a foot long, but now that she just turned 5 months old when she should only be 2 months old, and weighs 8 lbs, as much as normal full term baby weighs! She's doing great! Is a true blessing to the family! God was defiantly watching over her, and all the prayers worked cause she came a LONG way!

While in the NICU

So sweet!
She's doing great and that's all we all can continue to pray for!

We Went to Hershey Park for the first time this summer, that was fun! Noah didn't ride many rides but LOVED the water park!  I won tickets through Bob 94.9!  So we took Kailyn with us and just so happened we went the hottest day of the week!  Then the following day I guess my MS kicked my butt cause I was sick as a dog!  But I wouldn't trade that AWESOME day with my son and Kailyn and my Mom for the world!

Noah made his first trip to the Beach this summer as well! He had a blast! Loved every minute and didn't want to leave when it was time to go!  When he wanted to leave the beach and go to the pool he'd say "can we go to the beach without the waves?"  It was so funny!  But he had so much fun playing in the sand, and in the pool, he didn't care for the ocean too much though which I can't really blame him!  I have been wanting to take him to the beach since the summer of 2010 and only got there last year!  Some would call me a bad Mom I call priorities!  I want to go back this summer and Noah is already making plans!

We had a great year! There were definite moments, but when isn't there? Who doesn't have them? Anyone that claims to have this perfect life, and perfect child is lying! Cause I know I sure don't! I could say I did when he was a baby, and maybe a year old and maybe even 2 years old! But honestly this 3 year old stuff is for the birds! I don't know who took my nice sweet little boy and replaced him with a only sweet sometimes kid and sometimes down right mean boy, but I don't like it and I want my nice boy back! We are working on it, in process of trying to correct the bad behavior that he had suddenly picked up seemingly out of nowhere. In any case this year had had it's twists turns and flips, but as I said I would never change it for ANYTHING . My boy good bad or indifferent means the absolute world to me and I would not trade him for anyone or anything, all I can do is hope and pray for the best outcome in our venture to better his behavior and get down to what's going on with him. In the end, I hope that every single one of my friends and family have good health, great happiness in 2014! HAPPY 2014!

Christmas 2013

Well I really can't believe that Christmas is over already! It seems like last week was only Thanksgiving, then sudden rush to make sure you had all the gifts you needed to buy, and all the stress, and hustle and bustle....and in a short few 24 hours it was over! But you know what? I wouldn't trade that for the world! And don't forget the true reason and meaning for Christmas is for the birth of Jesus Christ our savior. This is actually the first year in I don't know how long we didn't have a birthday cake for Jesus! But we did sing to him! As Pastor Don said today sometimes we get blinded by all the glitter and Santa and such this time of year. Which is true, and it's really hard not to when there are children involved, but I guess it is equally important to let them in on what the true meaning really is, and that it isn't really about how many presents will be under the tree for you! I am hoping next year Santa takes the hint of the 4 gift rule, 1. something he wants to give 2. something to read 3. something to wear 4. something they need. Because I know Mommy will be following that rule for her little, OK not so little guy next year, as well as other kids! I must say that this year was the best so far, I know that he hasn't had that many so far only being born in 2010 but this year he was really into opening gifts and had the best reactions to EVERYTHING! His 3 favorite gifts are his Crane, his Superheros, and the Rescue Bots Transformers he got! Those were the best reactions! He also got a REAL remote control car, like from the hobby shop, for a grown man! He watched r/c truck videos on YouTube and it's like the same exact one, that he said he wanted! He opened all his presents and then Pop and Grammy opened theirs then that truck just popped up! so it was a surprise! He was excited! My sister and Danielle had also gotten him a r/c truck and gave it to him on Christmas Eve, so when Pop took him out to drive the truck he was going to drive the one he got from my sister and told my Dad he could have that new one, then Pop tried it out, Noah seen it went faster and turned fast and stuff then he changed his story! He had a lot of fun!

there it is!
We were invited to my Uncle Joe's house on Saturday for lunch and a Christmas Party and $10 gift exchange! It was fun! We went took my Aunt Joann with us, and both boys Parker and Noah! Parker was never at Uncle Joe's house before but Noah was a few different times! We had a great dinner with a mix of Filipino, American and Portuguese food, it was yummy as usual! Then we played a couple games which was fun, look in the box then try to remember what was in it, then this game you worked with a partner and tried to use words to get them to say whatever was on your paper without saying what was on your paper...if that makes sense...it was fun! Then Sandy wanted to do Karaoke, so they did that for a little the games were after we ate. Then the gift exchange! We all drew a number, and chose a gift in that order, then you could steal or choose a new gift. I ended up with a Chillow, a pillow that says cold or cool! Turns out I literally just bought one at Target right before! So my cousin Wil wanted it, so I left him have it! Then he gave us some snowman salt and pepper shakers and candles, my Mom loves snowmen so that worked out she can have it! We had a lot of fun! Noah even got some gifts there! Wil and Sandy gave him a blow up Shrek chair, Maricar and Derek Paint and Race car set, and Aunt Maria and Uncle Joe and Thunder Tumbler truck thing that is R/C and flips and stuff! BIG thanks to everyone for EVERYTHING, including the laughs, and the love we shared!

Church plays/ Daycare plays/ Snow Days/ 4 wheeler fun oh my!

We have had quite the busy December so far! As a matter of fact we just decorated our tree TODAY, yes today the 15th of December! This is officially the latest we have EVER decorated for Christmas, but it's ok because we always leave our decorations up until like the middle of January! We had a 3 Birthday parties right in a row for Noah, then at the same time on the same day of one of the parties he had is Christmas show for his DAWGS (Dynamic and Wiggly God Seekers club) with Geyers Church. Which was pretty awesome! All the kids did a great job! They had a great turkey dinner before the show and the parents of the DAWGS club kids brought desert for after the show! It was pretty awesome! I do believe everyone that was there enjoyed theirselves! The next night we were to go to Christmas Candylane to sing with the DAWGS club but that was the night we were to get the ice storm so they cancelled it, turns out that they aren't going to reschedule it so we got free tickets to enjoy a night a Candylane with the family! Hopefully it's not super cold this weekend so we can go before Christmas! Here are a few picture of the dress rehersal for the show, my phone is at my sisters and she has the pictures on her camera!

Parker had his Daycare Christmas program also! That was SO cute! All of the classes preformed, it was held at the Music Box Theatre at HersheyPark on December 12th. It was quite long, with a slideshow at the end which was adorable and a visit from Santa! So cute! I'm so glad we were invited! Here are a few pictures from that!

Next is the recent snow! Noah and I were out, played a little, actually just walked around, rode his bike in it which actually went really well to my surprise! Then Sunday his Poppy took him out to ride his 4 wheeler in the snow!

yes he can ride his bike in the snow!  I swore that he couldn't he covinced me he could!  never doubt him!

1st time riding in the snow, he loved sliding around!
I know all this is really late!  I actually started this post a few weeks ago and never finished it!  Everything is just crazy busy lately!  Now Christmas is here and gone already!  And next will be working on that post, but that WILL NOT be tonight, or tomorrow, maybe not even this weekend!  But sometime very soon the Christmas post will be up and I will resume normal blog posts!  Between busy season at work and a million hrs of OT, hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving then Christmas which seems to just all be one huge blur....I will say that there is honestly nothing better than having a child on Christmas day, and this year was the absolute BEST so far with Noah!

Until Christmas Post!  I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Fall Fun/Halloween

October seemed to have just flown right by! We managed to get three Fall outings in through October though, not as many as last year but hey it was just as fun! We have done, Stauffers Fall Festival, Ashcombes last weekend and Corn Cob Acres last weekend! I L O V E Corn Cob Acres! There are so many cute things for the kids to do, and I just love it! You really could spend a whole day there! Noah had a blast to again! This year Parker also had a really good time! Last year he was just a baby!
Those were all from Stouffers Fall Festival!
All of these were from Ashcombes, which was awesome! Next, and last was Corn Cob Acres. My Favorite Place! Noah seems to love it there to! He is so high stung, he has so much energy ALL of the time! That is probably why!

Sling shot!

hay ride!

Then of course there is the Discovery Kids Halloween Parade which is always a hoot!

There is my favorite turtle! (Noah not Leonardo!)

Then of course you would have Tick or Treat...we did do the Hummelstown Halloween Parade Monday before Trick or Treat which my sister has a picture of Noah and Parker.  There I am a bad Mom and didn't take a picture of my boy there! He wasn't very into being there, actually he said "I don't want to see the parade unless it goes by my house."  Well honey since we live in the middle of between Middletown and Hummeltown I don't think any parade is going to come past your house!  But he did ok.  He doesn't like loud noise, you can imagine how it went most of the time.
Trick or Treat we went into Hummelstown to meet my sister and go with Parker.  There are a few kids out here now but it is so not safe enough to walk around and no people to give out candy.  Parker was a Sock Monkey!  He was so adorable!  I don't have a real good picture of him but it's ok!

Trick or Treat was a good time! Good day for the last day of the month! I gotta say! I cannot believe that it's November already now! geez....before we know it, it will be Christmas!
