Goodbye 2011 - Hello 2012!

What a year this has been!  I can't believe how fast it went by!  It was a wonderful year.  Noah makes everything in life a little more enjoyable!  Honestly, if Noah weren't here, and I didn't have everyday with him, I'd be forced to say this year was horrible!  I guess I say that because being diagnosed with a life long illness, that will never go away but with any luck will not get any worse makes you feel awful.  Especially when at the time of diagnosis I had a 17 month old!  Taking it day by day, going to start living life to the fullest in 2012!  For that I cannot wait!

Goodbye all the negative, all the stuff that held me back, 2012 is a new year for a new Sabrina!

Today for the end of year bash, we went to the AACA Museum.  Noah needless to say had a blast!  He loves anything that goes!  Trains, tractors, cars, trucks, bikes, you name it he likes it!  He's the littlest motor head!

Noah and Sammy the Snowplow!

In the train room, he even got to play!

Taking Mommy for a ride!

That was fun, now I need a nap!

It was really fun there, and I even enjoyed looking at everything!  They were having a wedding there, so everything was a little messed up because of that, but at least we got in on a discounted rate because of it!  Of course Noah didn't leave without some sort of souvenir! He got 2 different buses from New York, a 57 Chevy, 2 soft airplanes which by the way are too cool, oh and we can't forget the license plate for his bike!

We'll definitely go back another day!  Next time I think we will force Poppy to come along because he would like it!

Pop and Grammy made more snack sticks this evening!  The last ones they made were really good, I can't wait till these are smoked and good to go!

This evening my sister and Danielle were over for New Years Eve dinner.  We had fish, fries, shrimp, cheese, ring bologna, crackers, cheese ball, and Dad had his Clams **YUCK**.  It was a yummy dinner, tomorrow my sister is making the Good Luck Pork and Sauerkraut!

I'm so excited to start 2012!  I cannot wait to make new memories with my family, and especially with my son!  There are a lot of things I'll be working on this year, and I will absolutely no questions asked meet each and every goal I make for myself.  I have to.

Noah was practicing shaking his noise maker we made Friday, and saying Happy New Year!  He did great!  This is all I got though!

Well, as I sit here at 11pm one hour prior to the start of a New Year, I hear snoring coming from the living room which only means that I'm the only one awake!  I have two choices....be nice and let them sleep and quietly ring in the new year with a kiss to my baby, or be mean and start shaking the noise makers Noah and I made and saying Happy New Year! I would prefer to do the second idea however that might quite possibly wake Noah up and he was really tired!  I guess I'll be nice!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful New Year, and is safe tonight!

GOODBYE 2011, HELLO 2012!

2011 is coming to a end

I can hardly believe that this week is the last week of 2011 already!  Wow, what a year it was!  Good and bad times, as usual.  I only hope that 2012 is filled with all the blessings that everyone deserves!

I know one thing good for 2012, is I am going to be a Aunt!  I'm excited about that!  I'm thinking it's a girl, but we won't know that till about February probably!  What a cute little peanut it is though!
you can't tell from this pic, but that picture is perfect of the little peanut baking for 3 months!

One good/bad thing is my baby is turning two.  I can't believe that he's going to be two already!  Time sure has flown on by, but I must say that it has been the best two years of my life!  I wouldn't change it for the world!  All that I would change is having Noah's Daddy here with us, but I know he's his own special guardian angel, so I'm happy for that!

dippin' cookies with Poppy on Christmas Eve!

I don't like how fast Christmas goes by.  You spend a month, or more getting ready for it and then it's gone in a blink of a eye!  It's amazing to me.  I guess when your a adult things are different.  Noah is having fun with all his new toys, and Kailyn enjoyed playing with him to!  How it's set up at home, he can fix something then cook dinner!

Noah and Pop call our coal stove the Dragon, and Noah loves to help Pop "feed the dragon!"

Here's just a few shots from tonight!  My amazing little man :)

at least 1 out of 5 pictures usually has a orb in it....Jeff??

He's like what the heck Mom lol
I must say that out of all the bad this year brought, it was mostly good.  And for that I'm thankful!  I hope that everyone has a wonderful, fun, safe, and very happy and prosperous New Year!

Welcome 2012!!!

Merry Christmas 2011

What a absolutely wonderful, fantastic day today was!   Noah woke up at about the usual time.  He didn't go crazy when we came out and he seen all the gifts around the tree.  That kinda shocked me, because I thought he'd be a wild man!  But he did pretty good, I think he was overwhelmed.  There was too much, and he at one point was fixated on the wrapping paper!  It was Bob the Builder, and he was just down practically on his belly pointing out what was what on it!  He's so cute!

His biggest present, kinda got unveiled early....WAY to early!  I was taking a recipe to the kitchen for my Mom and Noah followed me and found it.  What was it?  His very first real big kid bike!  He fits it perfectly, and already mastered getting on and off of it!  Uncle Frank got him a helmet which is a really good thing because he wouldn't have been riding it otherwise!

Noah loved all his gifts, but I think the bike was the best!  He likes his kitchen I got him!  I was so worried about it and was going to take it back, but I'm glad I didn't!  I'm really glad I didn't do it because I was going to take it back to get Noah a workbench, and turns out his Auntie's got him one! SO now he has the best of both worlds, and can make some lucky woman happy one day!

When you do what he's doing the engine moves as if it's on!
Noah got a lot of trains!  Even got his very own train set!  We didn't get it out yet because we had family in and out all day and it would take up too much room.  I have a feeling tomorrow will be the day!

He also got his own Toy Story Couch!  He loves it, and thinks he's hot stuff when he unfolds it to lay down and cover up with the built in blanket!  So cute!

He got so many things, mostly little but they all add up!  He loves the remote control flip car his Auntie's got him a lot to!  He is just so awesome!  We really had a great day!  I ended up having to just open some of his gifts because he was overwhelmed and would get something opened and just study it and want that toy open so he could play with it!  Santa brought him a Hess truck, he loves and another Toys R Us tractor trailer with a car that he also loves!  If it wouldn't make me a liar to say, I'd say that he loves trucks almost as much as tractors!   He definitely likes things with wheels and that move!

He went Pee on the potty tonight while he was brushing his teeth!  So cute, he got some M&M's for that!  Once his 2nd Birthday hits we are really going to start working on the potty training.  I'm hoping it isn't too bad!  A lady at the daycare says she got all her kids potty trained in a weekend, and someone else tried it to and it worked.  So we'll see if it works for us!

We had a great day, and the day went so fast.  I knew that was going to happen!  Noah got Mommy a new camera!  I love it!  It is like my Mom's Nikon just a smaller version!  The boy has taste!

Christmas Eve we made a Gingerbread Train, instead of a house!  Actually Mommy made it and Noah decorated it after he woke up from his nap!

Then in the evening we went to his Auntie's house who always host Christmas Eve.  It was fun, he had a blast playing with Madison and Antonio!  Of course he loved opening his presents, which his Auntie's totally spoiled him as usual!  He got two outfits, lots of underwear, trains, batman car, ornament, books, tool bench/engine and I don't even think that's all!

Noah made his Auntie's and Grammy and Poppy special pictures for Christmas this year!  They turned out really cute!  I didn't even take a picture of his Aunties' picture before they took it, but I'm pretty sure I have a pic with them holding it up!

Theirs is a John Deere footprint tractor with thumbprint chickens!

Grammy and Poppy's is a Farmall, because that's what Pop likes best!
It says in the big wheel "Held together by one little foot, and 5 toes with thumbprints too!  Merry Christmas Grammy and Pop (or Aunties) Love Noah.  When I was adding the wheels I thought it seemed kinda odd, but didn't pay no mind.  Then I checked my source and the wheels are suppose to be under the print, oh well I think it still looks very cute anyway!  I love it!

I guess that Noah made Santa's "Nice" list after all!  Because if he didn't, then he just got REALLY lucky!  I really shouldn't complain because he's a typical almost 2 year old!  I love him and I am so glad that we had a wonderful Christmas!  We even sang Happy Birthday to Jesus this morning!  So cute!

Tomorrow Kailyn is coming over, and I'm excited to see her!  It's been a while, so I guess we will be having a mini Christmas with her tomorrow!

I'm exhausted, so I am going to be calling it a day really soon!  I hope that everyone had a fantastic day as well!

Daycare Christmas Party

Today was Noah's Christmas party at daycare.  I was so excited that this year I could make it, because last year at this time I wasn't allowed time off to go.  My parents and sister went in my place!  I'm glad since he's older that I was able to be there this year!

I had the whole day off, so the morning Noah slept in which I'm still wondering why he won't do that on the weekends!  Then we had breakfast, and got dressed.  Watched some of Sprouts Wiggly Waffle then headed to school.  He was there a hour and half later then normal, which I think threw him off.  Sometimes he crys when I go to leave in the mornings, but it's usually not too hard to get him distracted, especially if Ms. Amber has hash rounds from Hardee's in the morning!  Today he made it hard for me to leave.  Maybe it was just because he NEVER goes to daycare when I am off work unless I have a appointment or something like that.  Today was his party and I figured maybe he should go, and not just show up for the party.  Now that I'm thinking about it, we could have just came for the party.  I don't know.  I'll remember that for next year unless I can't get the day off!

We, ok I made rice krispie treat cupcakes last night!  They turned out so cute!  I found the idea on Pintrest, the more I am on that site the more addicted I become!  We took those as well as some cookies for the party!

We just were hanging out in the room, looking at all the wonderful projects they did with the kids in Noah's class.
My son is such a ladies man!

Then Santa arrived! I don't think that any kid sat on his lap, but Noah and a few others were giving him high 5's! Santa gave everyone a puzzle! Noah got the hang of opening presents, because he did a good job with that! Makes me even more excited for Christmas!

Noah had no plans on getting any closer to him for a real picture, not even with Mommy!

Noah picked out Christmas Tree's to send to his two favorite teachers, Ms Kensey and Ms Mallory!  Noah gave all his friends a little book and a pack of fruties for Christmas!

We had a wonderful time!  It was so nice that I could actually go this year!  I don't like to miss out on anything that has to do with Noah!  Thank you to the parents that gave all the kids a little something!  That was so kind!  Noah loves the Shrek the Halls lift the tab book from Rachel!  Thank you to Noah's teachers for giving him a gift as well!

I can't believe only 3 days 1 hour and 2 minutes till Christmas!  Noooooo, I'm not that anal!  I got Noah the countdown to Christmas ornament from Hallmark and it breaks it down.  Yes I did go get the ornament so I was up to date as I type this! ha ha

We had a great day, tomorrow evening after work we are going to visit one of my good friends Cindy.  We'll have dinner with her and just hang out for a little bit then head home.  I'm excited because we haven't seen each other in a while!  It should be nice to catch up!  She'll be shocked to see how big Noah got! The last time we were there I don't think he was walking yet!

quick update: 3 days 0 hours 58 minutes until Christmas!
