Touch A Truck and Grammy's Birthday

Today is a very special day, it's Grammy's Birthday!!  We started the day off with a couple cards, and singing, Happy Birthday!
Then we went to a Touch A Truck event that was held across the river in Hampton Township at the Fire House.  Noah's buddy from schools Mom told me about it, so I decided to take Noah because since his Poppy has done a marvelous job of turning him into a motor head, I knew he'd love it!
Probably his most favorite, John Deere Tractor!

Noah and his Buddy from daycare walking!

He came through and see all the other trucks to get in!

Megatron from Transformers

BUS, he LOVES buses for some unknown reason!  Probably when it's time for him to ride on to school he won't like them!

The man with this dump truck said for him to pull that cord, to blow the horn....

he did and scared the crap out of everyone around, even me and himself!

Kissmobile!
showing Grammy he's eating a Hershey Kiss!
We had a lot of fun here!  Noah had a blast, he didn't know what to do first, and had a little bit of a hard time waiting his turn so he'd find something without a line and then come back!  Smart kid!  I even had fun, I enjoy anything that makes Noah happy and you could just see it in his face he was in Heaven!   Thanks to Emerson and his Mommy for telling us about this event, or we may have never have gone!

Next stop was to Texas Roadhouse for Birthday lunch for my Mom!  We were never there before, and she had said about going there a few times before so I thought I'd take her there for lunch on her special day!  I didn't tell her that's where we were going until we pulled into the parking lot and well by then she knew!  We had a very good meal, Noah loved the blooming onion (I know that's not what it's called there, but same difference), I loved the bread!  Mom loved her Margarita and her steak!

Mom and Noah are on it!

Birthday Girl!

Thanks Noah!
I made sure to tell our waitress when we first got there that it was my Mom's birthday.  Since we were never there before I had no idea what they did to embarrass the birthday person!  But she sure was embarrassed!  I did video it on my phone, but I don't know how I can get it on here.  She was trying to get out of getting on that horse but it didn't work! I love my Mom, hay you only turn 54 once right?!

Then we went to pick up my sister, and drop off Noah to his Aunt Danielle!  She was kind enough to babysit while Grammy, Aunt Chrissy, and Mommy went for a pedicure!  We had a blast, had a relaxing time, got to watch Parker moving and shaking in my sisters belly and got pretty toes in the process!

Man you can really see Parker there!

After we were done with our toes, we went home to have some birthday cake!

Noah has to help everyone on their birthday now!  He's so cute!  Happy Birthday Mom/Grammy/Diana!
I hope my Mom had a great day, I'm sure she did because she got to be with me and my sister.  She got to eat a good lunch at a new place she's been wanting to go to, and she got a pedicure which is her new self pampering!  I know that I had a awesome day!

Yesterday Noah had a surprise waiting for him when he got home!  I knew that he was going to be in love with this surprise, and I also knew that once he actually got it, it was going to change my life as I know it for the next few years probably!
He got his very own........
wait for it.....

John Deere Tractor with a buggy!

I love how he checks stuff out

Happy as a clam!

It even has a FM radio! lol he got off a few times and was dancing!

Pop is showing him how to use reverse!
The reason I say my life will change for a few years is because first of all the boy LOVES to be outside!  It doesn't matter what your doing, or not doing he finds something to do!  He has gotten riding his bikes down so that was the reason he was always wanting to be out before, or it was him wanting Pop to take him for a tractor ride.  Now it's this, he talked about it last night while going to bed, talked about it tonight while going to bed!  If it's not raining he going to want to be out riding it!  I guess he'll get use out of it!

Walk MS 2012

Today was the 2012 MS walk.  What a day to have this event!  I was so hoping and praying for a change in the weather forecast for today but that didn't happen!  All I gotta say is it could have been worse!

Noah and I got all ready this morning and were all layered up and ready to go, stopped for a picture before we left!
It was raining, of course already before we even left.  But the weather man said the heavy rain wouldn't come until the evening.  I said that I was just going to go register, hand in my donations which I had a total of $230.00 of and go home if it was raining.  THEN, I got my email on Friday with little reminders about the walk site which was on all school grounds at Milton Hershey and Hershey Schools, and at the end it said that MS doesn't take a day off because of the weather.  That made me think....well either should I.  So that made me decide that I was going to walk rain or shine.  Now pouring down rain, or thunderstorms are a totally different story and I wouldn't have went!  I'm glad I did!  Despite the rain, and kinda coldness, it was fun!  Noah's friend from daycare Emerson and his Mommy Stacy joined us for the walk which was awesome!  My Mom also came along and braved the elements!  It was awesome to see all the support out there!  I'm sure that if the weather were nicer that there would have been a lot more people out walking but it was a pretty good turn out considering!

Raffle tickets you could purchase for a chance to win one of these, I won the Avon one!

Electric Slide anyone?!

Noah's watching the girls do the electric slide!

Umbrella's everywhere!

Noah keeps talking about this tunnel!

Yummy lunch!

"Now I know what a drowned rat feels like!" -Diana Zinn (my Mom) lol

The Wall Of Hope.

Walking to the car, Noah FINALLY got to splash in puddles!

Note the smile on his face!
I have met a few great people with this monster of a disease, and they are all very positive inspiring people.  I'm so happy to have met them all.  This walk I did today was not only for myself but for everyone everywhere that suffers with MS.  Every little bit helps, so even though I didn't meet my goal of $500 what I did raise is going to help with the research.  Maybe just maybe with the money someone else raised that is what's going to do the trick to be able to find that cure.  You never know.  I will never know.  I can only hope and pray.

I made Noah a T-shirt to do this walk today.  I love it.  He wears everything that's homemade so proudly as if he knows what it's all about!

Anyway even though it was a awful weather day, I had a great day!  I had fun with my Mom, Stacy, Noah, and Emerson at the walk and I hope they did to!

Lets hope for nice and sunny weather next year!
