My sister's 37th Birthday!

Today is my lovely sister's Birthday!  I already know that she has what she wanted for her birthday, and that's the baby that's baking in her belly!  She wants to be a Mother more then any gift anyone could ever buy her!  I'm thankful that it's on it's way to coming true!  She's due now on June 25th 2012.  They moved her due date up from July 1st.  So like 7 more months and I'll be a Aunt and she'll be a Mother!  I can't wait and I know she can't either!!

Before we left and headed home, Noah had to play dare devil one more time!  OK well actually like 5 more times!  He's so cute!  Man he makes my heart melt!  I almost couldn't stand waiting to see him today!  I don't like it when he's away, mainly because he's never away!  But I guess I deserve a little break now and then.  But it always seems that when he's gone I'm still busy, so either way things get accomplished!

Noah spent the night with his Auntie's Saturday night.  My Mom and I cleaned REALLY good, and moved all his toys into our den.  So now he has his own little play area even though I'm sure he'll bring stuff out to the living room.  It just makes everything look neater, because honestly our living room was on the verge of looking like Toys R Us!  After Christmas I am going to pack more of his toys away because He's going to have SO much stuff!!

Tonight after we were home from having dinner and ice cream cake with his Auntie, He first saw his new toy room and gasped and put his hands to his mouth!  It was the cutest thing I have ever seen and I am so mad that I didn't have the camera for that exact moment!

Of course it wouldn't be almost bed time if he didn't get his Poppy to watch tractor videos on You Tube!

He got his 3rd haircut Saturday!  I love it!

His Grammy bought Snowman and Reindeer magnets that go on the refrigerator that is like a mix and match thing.  So she was helping him do that once he actually noticed it!  That was cute!

He LOVES to put money in his bank!  He asks everyday for money, which to him is usually just change!  But he doesn't mind paper money either!  His pink piggy bank that his Poppy bought him when I was only like 6 weeks pregnant is really almost full.  So my parents made him a penny jar so he could put just pennies in that and not his big bank.  Well recently that ended up getting some silver in it which wasn't a big deal.  Most recently paper money started going in there to!  So it's all mixed which is really fine I guess.  Soon his banks will be emptied and taken to the bank to get them deposited into a savings account for him.  I just hope he continues to like to save his money when he's older!

All in all it was a fabulous weekend!  Long 4 day weekend might I add!  Next weekend we have birthday parties to go to.  I cannot believe that his one daycare teacher's daughter is going to be one already, and Noah's cousin is going to be 2 on the 5th.  Noah's birthday will be here before I know it.  I can't believe it!

Letters

We have been working on letters, and we are almost through the whole alphabet!!
S is for Sunflower

T is for Train

U is for Umbrella

V is for Violin

I really enjoy doing this with Noah, he's actually able to say some of his alphabet when I ask him.  He's no where near getting it all but hey ya gotta start somewhere!

Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Family filled Thanksgiving!  I know I did!  My Mom (as usual) made the most amazing meal!  She's a great cook and is especially good at holiday dinners!  We started our day off bright and early!  Noah was up before 6am, and we played and then got dressed in his homemade Turkey shirt!  So cute might I add!  Soon after that Aunt Chrissy, or Issy as Noah calls her and Aunt Danielle came.  They were kind enough to make Pumpkin and Mincemeat pies and brought them!  My Dad is the only one who eats the Mincemeat, there is just something about the name that screams NOT GOOD!  We had a awesome day, just another reason to be Thankful!  I took Noah to the playground, we were at our favorite in Hummelstown until a bunch of kids came out of the woodwork then we went to Shank Park. We just stopped at the first playground there we seen, I know there is more then one.  It's kinda nice there because there is so much land, and it's not busy so he could run if he wanted to and I didn't have to panic right that second!

First Bite of Turkey Dinner!

He gave us a solo on the drums

Having some pumpkin pie

He loves this thing in Hummelstown!
Oh no one at Shank Park too??

These swings were different, but he LOVED them!

This is all the further he'd go he was scared of the tunnel I think.

We really did have a awesome Thanksgiving!  Then it was the fun Black Friday shopping!  We went to Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Target, Christmas Tree Shops, Hershey Outlets, Home Depo and the new bookstore on 22.  We were out from 930ish and didn't get home until about 9 the next morning!  Put it this way, I haven't pulled a all nighter for God only knows how long.  It kinda felt good, but not so good when Noah didn't let me sleep until like 11!  But it was totally worth it!  I got good deals and got Noah way too much!  I don't think Santa told me to get all that I did!  Oh well, he'll enjoy his second Christmas and that's really all that matters to me!

Thanksgiving Feast

Today was Noah's Thanksgiving Feast at the daycare!  It's nice that they do things like that so the parents can come!  Last year I didn't get to go because of work, but this year I made a point to just take my one day off during AEP to go to this!  I'm going to the Christmas party too, I didn't make it to that last year either!  But my Parents and sister and Danielle went for me!

Noah having lunch with his friends, and Ms Kensey

Classroom thankful Turkey!

He drank all Mommy's Tea!

Awesome Christmas mantle with all the kids in the call pictures on it!

He was saying "Go, Go, Go" since I got there

15 minutes after we were home....knocked out!  With Ramone and Mater! lol

All the class was eating when I got there.  Noah of course wanted to just stop and leave!  He did end up eating a little more before we left!  He drank all my tea, why drink his own milk when he could drink Mommy's?   Once I went in the room he started saying "Go Go" since normally when I get there it's just to pick him up and leave!  So I tried to get him to stay a little but he wasn't having it!  He took me over to the mantel and pointed out all his friends on it, then we left.  Said goodbye to Grammy in the baby room, and went home.  He was sleeping so fast! This is his normal nap time at school so I figured he'd be asleep soon after we were home!

I'm thankful that I was able to go today, and I'm always thankful for any time I get to spend with my wonderful handsome son!  He's really my world and lights up my life!  Now only if it wouldn't be raining we could go to the park or something!  Oh well.  We'll do something once he's up from his nap!!

Crafty Sunday

We had a fabulous Sunday!  Noah was pretty good all day!  Kailyn and him played a lot, we had his Turkey shirt done well almost done by 7am!  I actually started off my day in a panic, Noah woke up at 620, I heard him and looked at the clock and thought oh my God it's 20 after 6 I didn't set my alarm.  Normally during the week I'm up between 5 and 530 and get ready and Noah is up by 6 and we leave by 645!  Thankfully when I got up and seen my Mom on the chair that's when it hit me it's only Sunday!
His foot should have been higher, but it was kinda a struggle.  I think it's still cute!

the finished product, I added the eyes and feet and beak as well as his age.

We also used a idea from pintrest with the strainer and pipe cleaners.  Kailyn even liked it!  It was kinda fun and kept them busy for a good 20-30 minutes!

Kailyn put on the Disney channel this afternoon, and UP was on.  Noah is not a TV kid.  Actually he doesn't really watch TV.  He'll watch a few minutes then he's off playing he really could care less!  So when he started watching it and not taking his eyes off the TV I thought it was interesting!

He started jumping with both feet at the same  time this weekend!  He was having a blast doing that the other night!  He was hyper and kept jumping!  It's so amazing how he can not say  things right then says later he's saying them right!  Like for instance, the show on Sprout Caillou, he could not say that but now he says it perfect!  He's awesome!

I really enjoy watching him grow and learn new things!  He's getting so big so fast, I can't believe he'll be two already!

This is a short week for me.  I only work Monday and Wednesday this week!  Nice, really nice that 2 of the days are paid holidays from work!

I started off the month kinda stating on my Facebook page what I was thankful for each day.  Well I kinda got off that train.  But I must say I'm thankful for everything in my life!  I'm thankful for each day that God gives me and my family to enjoy.  I'm very VERY thankful that God chose me to be the Mother to a wonderful little boy.  I'm thankful that I have a job, since some people are not having good luck with finding good jobs in this economy.  I'm thankful I have the few good, honest, friends in my life, all you need are a couple that you know you can count on no matter what.  I'm really thankful for everything, I could just go on and on!

I am most thankful on this Sunday evening, that God gave my family and I a wonderful gorgeous weekend!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week, and very Happy Turkey Day!

Santa

This Saturday was a busy one!  First we started the morning off rather later then usual!  Usually Noah wakes up at his normal 6-630 time.  Monday-Friday he gets up at 6, so that's to be expected.  Today he didn't wake up till almost 730, that would mostly be because he woke up at 515 and didn't go right back to sleep.  I'm not sure why sometimes he wakes up like that, but hey at least he went back to sleep this time!  We sat around watching Sprout, and eating multi grain cheerios and drinking chocolate milk, until about 9.  Then Mommy got her butt in gear and got a shower, as did Grammy and Kailyn.  Noah got dressed and we were out the door on our way to Bass Pro where Santa just happened to be by 10!

The line wasn't long at all, and moved quite fast!  I thought we would go early this year thinking maybe it wouldn't be so busy, and compared to last year when we went the beginning of December it wasn't busy at all!  We got to watch the train while we waited for our turn with Santa, and we got to test out some four wheelers!  Noah has almost officially out grown his little one he got for Christmas last year!  Finally It was our turn for Santa, Noah was looking at him and talking to him while we walked up.  I put him on his lap and he instantly started reaching out to me and saying Mama Mama, but Santa so nicely put his arms down and looked at the camera as the lady jingled the bells and smiled!  The photo turned out nice!
Last year he was too little, and really just had a dumbfounded look on his face, so at least this year he has some sort of expression!  It could always be worse, he could have been screaming!  Which I'm surprised it didn't happen!  I'm so proud of my Little guy!

Kailyn the soon to be 11 year old, got her picture taken with Santa as well.  She's a great little girl, who's been with our family for a long long time!  I started watching her before she could even walk or crawl!  She's growing into a lovely young lady.  I'm happy about that!  Her birthday is Black Friday, last year she was lucky and it was on Thanksgiving!  She's awesome

I think it's really nice that they do all this stuff for free!  I mean you don't get anything for free anymore, and a picture with Santa you could make a killing off of!  Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that more people then not buy some package, I know I have for the past two years.  But still I think it's the fact that you know you can have a picture for free, that makes you want to buy some!  I could easily come home scan it and print other pictures, but I think it's awesome that they have so many nice things to do for kids, that I don't mind buying some pictures!

They had all the normal things to do, but this year they had a wildlife carousel.  That was really neat!  Noah enjoyed it, Kailyn rode it to but she really could have cared less!  She said it went to slow!  They also had Cozy Critters, I think they were called.  They were like build a bear, that was cute.  I don't know if it's just for the Christmas season or if it's always there.  I haven't been to Bass Pro for a while.  But of course Noah and Kailyn both made one!  Noah made a deer and Kailyn made a rabbit.

Noah and Kailyn colored snowman ornaments, I think it's so neat that now Noah is getting to the age where he can do all that stuff!

Here was my failed attempt at a Christmas Card picture!  I got the idea off Pintrest, and LOVED it!  I knew it wouldn't turn out as good as that one.  Mainly because I have a 20 month old and that kid looked to be like 4 or 5!  But I have to say that it was kinda fun getting these bloopers!
Yeah he's reaching over to unplug the lights!
He just looks pure evil in this one!

This one would have been perfect if it wouldn't be kinda blurry and if he would have been looking up!

I should add, that I then did later get a good one, that I'll be using!  I wanted to take the date stamp off the camera also and forgot so I'm kinda glad I didn't get "the one" this photo shoot!  The only thing we didn't get checked off our list today was making his Thanksgiving and Christmas Tshirts!  I also found those ideas on Pintrest.  I absolutely LOVE that site!  I'm so glad I heard about it!  I was going to use this tshirt idea for Christmas for cards, but then changed my mind due to having to buy other bigger envelopes and probably using more postage.  So I figured it would make a nice Tshirt!

I cannot believe that this Thursday is Thanksgiving already!   It's kinda crazy this year is flying by!  I love it because I love Christmas!  Especially now that Noah is here!  I think kids really do make the Christmas season more joyful!  I love it!
