A night without Noah??

This little precious bundle of joy, and frustration, is spending the night with his Aunties! They wanted some quality time with him, so I figured one night wouldn't kill me! Besides I had things I wanted to do in his room anyway so it will be easier without him here!

I officially put Noah's big boy bed up on the frame! So now he's officially a big boy! I want to get him the McQueen bed rail to match his room, I have only seen it at Target though. Maybe I'll get there tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow morning I am meeting them at Stauffers for their Fall Festival. I'm so excited! He's going to be more into it this year, and it will be more fun....and probably more frustrating to! We have to make a Scarecrow, and that's the only thing there that you have to pay for, everything else is free. Unless of course you buy pumpkins or something. It's really nice, I'm glad that I found that before with Kailyn!

Noah is saying so many words now! He's so amazing! I know I say that like all the time, but it's so true! I knew kids learned so much and that it was cool, but it wasn't until I had my own child that I see just how amazing it really is! He still has this little temper. I have no idea how to handle that, especially because it seems to have just all of a sudden started. But I hear that he's being more aggressive at Daycare. And I'm not sure, but I'm thinking it's cause he's sick of getting bit, scratched hit etc! Now he's giving it back! NOT THAT IT'S RIGHT!!! I'm not saying it is, and honestly I'd rather him just "take it like a man", but I'm not there, and they don't do time out. So I really am at a loss on how to fix that there. All I can do is try to fix it at home, and HOPE it carries over to daycare!

All is well with us! I cannot believe that tomorrow is October already. I have no idea where the past 9 months have gone, but I am glad it's Fall! This is my favorite time of the year!

This is Noah "talking on the phone" last weekend at Friendly's! I love this little man!

Not too long ago, Noah finger painted at home for the first time!  He didn't really enjoy it too much.  He doesn't seem to like strange things on his hands, although he'll gladly eat with his fingers when he has a perfectly good spoon there!  Sticky buns are a no no to!  He doesn't like the sticky!
He's some pics of his first finger painting!

Notice the face...he looks thoroughly disgusted!

I showed him what to do and he seemed to kinda get into it!

The finished Picasso!  It's on display in our living room!

So it's a lonely night tonight for Mommy! Noah isn't home and I don't know what to do with myself besides clean! Oh well, tomorrow will be here before I know it!!

Goodnight little man, Mommy loves you so much!! xoxoxoxox

I couldn't be more blessed!

Last Saturday, my Mom, sister, Noah and I went shopping!  Our trip started at Saturday's Market for veggies, then lunch at Friendly's, Target, Christmas Tree Shops, then the Hershey Outlets.  Needless to say, a majority of the shopping was for Noah!  As usual! But he is all set for Fall/Winter besides dress clothes for Christmas and special Thanksgiving outfit!  We walked all around the outlets, so not only was it fun shopping, but good exercise!
Noah and his Aunt Chrissy modeling the hat!

Now backwards!  My Great Grandfather used to wear these hats all the time!  He's had one since he was a baby!  This one is size 3T-4T!  He must have a lot of brains up there!

We had spagehetti for dinner one night, thankfully I was using my head and took Noah's shirt OFF prior to eating!  He had fun with his dinner, not to mention loved trying the Spaghetti on!

He was slurping his noodles!

This picture looks the same but it isn't, I attempted to get a slurp but he's not too cooperative!

Normally Noah does NOT play with his food, but he was so cute and just seemed to really be enjoying himself!  He was eating and not playing but he sure did make a mess!

This is my whole world sitting right here!

I really enjoy the little things with Noah!  He has made me stop and smell the flowers so to speak!  There is nothing more that I want then for him to have a wonderful life, with everything he needs and wants.  So far I'm doing pretty good with that!  He's a happy kid, and that makes me happy!  I love him with my whole heart and there is nothing I could ever ask for that would be better then him!  I have no idea what I would do if I was never blessed with him!  God really knew what he was doing when he created him!  I guess Noah is just one last good thing his Daddy Jeff did before he passed away.  I wish that Jeff were still here to spend time with Noah, I know they would be best buddies!  But now I just let Jeff live on and make sure to keep him alive in Noah.

Day out with Thomas, AND Poppy's birthday!!

September 23, 2011 was a very special day for Noah!  I took him to see Thomas the tank engine!  His Grammy and Poppy also came along, it was his Poppy's birthday this day also!  We stopped at McDonald's for breakfast, then were off to Strasbourg Railroad!  It's awful that the rain didn't hold off, cause it made it kinda dreary, but we still had a blast! I, Mommy had a absolute blast! lol
  • Pop getting him to eat his breakfast!

We had to park farther away and get shuttled over by the big yellow school bus, which for whatever reason Noah just loves buses!
WOW Mommy REALLY needs a diet badly.....

This is why I love this boy!

On the bus!!

I was super happy about going here, NOT so happy that it was raining.  Now I am kinda even more upset that today was a nice day, and I could have gotten the tickets for today.  Oh well, maybe he will want to go there again when he's a little older and it will be nicer!
WELCOME!!!

Standing in line waiting for the tank engine himself, Thomas!

Of course Noah like whatever right now, but he enjoyed it!

got to open the windows, so Noah was hanging his head out!

He was tapping his little hand on the window sill, while listening to Thomas!

The ticket

He was starting to get sleepy, but hung in there until we left!

The ticket collector is on his way!!

He was kind enough to pose for us!

Reading his ticket, he's so advanced lol

Thomas' black smoke!

Pop and Noah looking at all the black smoke from Thomas!

So sweet

HA the cute conductor, while we waited in line for Thomas pictures!

Bye Bye Thomas!

Grammy, Poppy, Noah and Mommy on the train

Noah and Mommy with Thomas, just a little wet!!

We had fun, regardless of the weather!  Noah got some goodies, overalls, t-shirt, cup, blanket and a bag!  Spoiled much?  He was knocked out after we got right down the road, before the Rockvale outlets!

It was also his Poppy's birthday, so we took him out for his favorite meal, Chinese! Then over to my wonderful sister's house to have the cake my Mom baked him!
His nice layer cake Mom made him, fresh it was only hours old here!

Happy 59th Birthday Herm/Dad/Poppy!

Christina, Sabrina, and our wonderful Father!

Now add Noah ;)

Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you,

Happy birthday dear Herm/Dad/Poppy Happy birthday to you!!

I had a fabulous day with my family!  Then to top it all off, Noah and I spent the night with my sister AKA Aunt Chrissy!  We had a awesome time then today we went out shopping ALL day with Grammy!  We had fun!  Noah got a lot of clothes and it will definitely tide him over until at least Christmas if not his Birthday in February!  Which by the way I can't believe my baby will be 2!

He had his 18 month check up yesterday, ironically a day before he turned 19 months old!  Today is Noah's happy birthday to! He is weighing in at a whopping 31 pounds, 34 inches tall!!  He's in the 90% for everything!  He is such a tall kid!  He seriously looks like he's 3 or 4!  It drives me crazy!  But he's healthy and growing perfectly so I can't complain!  His Dr is pleased with his development and that he's saying so many words!  We started a word list and didn't even get everything he says and it's over 40!  The Dr says they are only looking for about 20 words by his age!  He's doing perfect!

I guess that's all the updating for now!

Camp for a night!

Saturday morning we had decided to leave and head up to camp.  Due to the flooding everyone had to rush up there to move all the campers, thankfully it ended up not being as bad as originally thought!  So Saturday was the "move back in" day!  We headed up and got everything cleaned up in the camper and organized, while Noah was running his little butt off!  It would be interesting to know how many steps he goes in a day because up there he is CONSTANTLY running around!  He LOVES it!!
Noah decided since he slept for like 45 minutes in the truck that he didn't need to take a nap!  So after we went out for lunch and got back I figured a walk would put him to sleep!  So once my sister and Danielle said they were going to head out to get something to eat, I brought him down and strapped him in and walked down camp road and back.
I took this picture when we were almost back to our camp.....

by the time we got there, he was sleeping so I keep walking for a little to ensure he stayed asleep.  This is right after we got back.  It took 1/2 a minute for him to fall asleep once he let himself!

So then he got a little recharge and then he was running around like a animal that is caged 20 hours of the day or something! lol  He gives meaning to the word miracle, and happiness!  I may have never known how wonderful it was to be a parent if it weren't for God blessing me with this little guy!  He sometimes tests my patients but what can you expect from a 18 month old?

I absolutely LOVE this picture!  It's my new favorite!

It was a small short getaway, but it was much needed!  And I found out that it is official, Noah likes The Wiggles!  My sister and Danielle had a Wiggles movie and he watched almost the whole thing while dancing before he went to bed last night!  So besides Chica the bird from Sprout, The Wiggles is his other favorite!!

Just some rambles, and updates!!

My little guy is turning into a little boy right in front of my eyes and I can't hardly believe it!  He is talking so much just even in the past week!!  He's so cute!  There are things he trys to say but can't quite get it out yet!  He makes the BEST face when you ask him to say Zinn!  lol He can't get that one yet!! He has been saying his name for about a month though, it sounds like No-ahhh! He will gladly point out his picture to!!  He's so handsome!  I love him with all my heart!  He still has a temper, he gets mad easily, as well as throws temper tantrums.  ignoring is VERY hard to do.   He goes to the pediatrician on the 23rd for his 18 month check up, ironically a day before he turns 19 months old!  I am going to have to have a talk with her about this temper.  I'm sure some of it is maybe a phase, but I'm sure that me running and grabbing him up the minute he started crying when he was a baby has something to do with it also!  I just don't want to have that bratty kid that nobody ever wants to be around, although I don't understand how anyone could not want to be around this handsome guy! ;)
Him and his Pop were eating watermelon one night, and Pop got him to say sticky! it's so cute and he even makes a face when he says it! He also says stinky cause of the diesel tractors Pop has, and imitates the clicking of the lights! He's cute, and oh so smart! He has a first words picture book. I think there is like 100 pictures in it, and he can pick out just about everything in that book! He is simply amazing, and totally perfect in my eyes! I could even imagine my life without him! He's such a HUGE part of my life! I still miss him every single day when I go to work! I look at his pictures all day and can't stop thinking about him and just wait for that clock to strike 4 to leave to go get him!!

Things haven't change with his Paternal Grandparents. They still haven't contacted me at all. It's so frustrating because I just honestly don't understand how people can be like that! I'm sorry but if rolls were reversed and I were them, I'd want to know both of my Grandchildren from my son who is no longer on this earth. But to each their own. Like I said a million times, they have to live with the guilt, if they have a heart not me!

Noah got to see his half sister and play at the playground with her on Tuesday this week! That was nice! I would love for them to grow up knowing each other, and then of course once they are older if they don't want to get together and talk and stuff that's ok. But while they are almost 2 and almost 3 myself and Bridget have control over them! I hope for them to be able to get together more and play!

Jayana talks so well, it kinda amazes me to think that next year at this time Noah will be talking that clear and well! I wish them the very best! They are all each other have of their Daddy and I hope they embrace that.

Well I think I have caught up on everything! We are leaving for camp in the morning so I will have another update Sunday or Monday when we get home!!!

Grandparents Day 2011

This year for Grandparents Day my Mom and Dad were home and not at camp.  So Noah got to spend the day with them!  I went out on Saturday to get a white T-Shirt to write on with fabric markers, just like I did with his onsie last year!  This is my parents 2nd Grandparent's Day, and hopefully by next year they will either have another Grand baby or else my sister will be pregnant!  No not me!  I would love to have another one, but first of all I am not in the position to, and second of all I don't think I could handle it right now if I was!!

Anyway here's how our Grandparents Day went:
His shirt had a arrow up, and said Is the luckiest toddler in the world...WHY?? Because I have the best Grammy and Pop Pop ever, go ahead be jealous....you should be. LOL

Giving Grammy a kiss :) My Mom always says that from reading this, you wouldn't know he had a Grandma.  but let me tell everyone that Noah just started saying Grandma!  He used to just say Ga so she should feel special!! :)  love ya mom!

Riding on the Tractor with his Pop Pop

We had a good day, despite fact it was the 10th anniversary of 9/11. I'm sorry but I don't know if you can, or how to flip the pictures that are sideways. I can't stand that myself! I'm behind on my blogging!!!
