Happy 1st Birthday Parker Harrison!

Last Sunday was my little nephews first birthday!  It's crazy how I feel as though his first year went even faster than Noah's first year!  Probably because since Noah has been born the past three years have flown right by!
The week before he had his first birthday photo shoot!  Here are only a few of those pics, I can't wait until this weekend when I think my sister is suppose to get the rest!

Love this face shot!

little artist!
Saturday the 22nd was his party, it was held at the East Hanover Township park.  It's so nice there, covered pavilion, 2 playgrounds for the kids to run, bathrooms, water fountain.  Can't ask for much more!  The weather turned out to be nice, it was suppose to be super humid but it ended up being warm with a constant breeze which kept everything ok.
It was mostly family there, a few of Parker's daycare teachers and friends from school.  It turned out really nice!  Elmo themed party.

oh yes, we beat the crap out of Elmo....

a little bit of fun when the party was wrapping up!

The photographer came and did the party also for two hours I believe it was.  My sister should be getting those to this weekend!

Parker is such a cutie!  Growing up too fast!  He's not quite walking alone yet, but it won't be long!  He's moving up to the young toddler room at daycare......he's not a baby anymore sister!  Watch out!

Well my sister got the first year of Motherhood down, as did Danielle.  I guess they are good to go now!

Happy Father's Day!

Sunday was Father's Day.  Of course, Noah doesn't have his Daddy here to celebrate with, but we went to the cemetery to visit on Saturday and drop off a little something.  Despite the fact that suddenly all the stuff that Noah MADE, painted himself and such went missing.  Which is rather irritating, I mean I find it rude to take stuff away from a grave site that you didn't put there, unless it's something that has gotten gross, like fake flowers or something.  Well these things were not something that got gross!  Just stuff that someone was plain rude and heartless and removed.  They also took a cross that Noah actually picked out himself at the store for him (I was impressed!).  I'm still a little bit furious over this, and my blood begins to boil every time I start thinking about it.  Every time we go there, Noah always crowches down and talks to Jeff's picture on his stone.  It's as if he's talking to him.  This time he said "Happy Fathers Day Daddy Love you, Why do you let someone take stuff I make for you away cause that's not nice.  Do you like fruties?"  It was so random.  He can be so heartbreaking.  I remember a time he went there and he was like "Daddy don't worry it's ok  I'll be back to visit I promise!"  Everytime it brings tears to my eyes.  I wish that Noah would get to see pictures of his Dad when he was young cause he looked just like him!  I remember at the funeral looking through photo albums and Krista and I broke down crying because  looking at the pictures was like looking at Noah, even my Mom said so.  It's a shame that he will never know his Daddy, but I am doing the best I can to let him know his Daddy as he grows....

My Dad had a great Father's Day!  We started the day with some cards, and he was outside with Noah for a little.  Then my sister, Danielle and Parker came over, and we had a Father's Day cook in.  Steak, shrimp, clams, veggie mix.  It was bangin'!  He enjoyed it!  As did everyone else!
I think this year as last year was a hard one for my Dad cause 2 years ago my Grandpa passed away the  before Father's day.  That's something I don't think anyone can really forget.  I mean the date changes but you still remember.  This year it was Tuesday the 18th.  It's still hard for my
Dad.  Well Happy Father's Day Pop Zinn in heaven!

Happy Father's Day Dad, Thanks for everything you for us.  Thanks for the time you spend with Noah.  He really looks up to you.  I appreciate everything you do.  Thanks.
Love you!

Loving life

Saturday I took Noah to the barber shop for the first time since his very first hair cut!  He does so well now, sitting by himself like a big boy!  I just love him!  Even the Barbers are impressed and say how he does better than the bigger boys!  He got 2 lollipops thanks to the man sitting in the Barber shop who said that since he did such a good job sitting still he should get two!
Then I went to get my hair trimmed up, since I started getting mine cut short it has been growing like a weed!  Noah came in when I was getting done and told me I looked beautiful!  That just melted my heart!  At least one man thinks I am beautiful!

His Aunties watched him for the afternoon so Grammy and I could clean, then we did a little shopping and went pick Noah up and then also go to bring Parker home with us to spend the night!  What a great surprise!

we had a great time!  Noah is still a big jealous, bit that is to be expected!  He was always the center of attention, everything was always Noah Noah Noah, now it is Parker Parker Noah Parker.  That takes sometime to get used to for a 3 year old!  But I think he's doing pretty good!

This weekend, Parker has his 1st Birthday photo shoot!  Next weekend is his birthday party!  I can't believe he's already one!  Seems like yesterday, that went just as fast if not faster than my own son!  But that is to be expected!  I told my sister, after the first birthday, it's all down hill from there time will definitely fly!

Noah is growing so fast, before I know it I'll be putting him on the school bus!  He's been doing well in preschool at daycare.  Mostly green cards which are good!  Yesterday he got a yellow card, didn't have good listening ears.  Still not having good luck working on his letters at home, have to get cracking on that, have to find a very good incentive for that to make him WANT to do it.  He's a boy, if it were outside, involved something that had wheels, and went fast he'd gladly do it!  No such luck!  Now he's been listening to the Leap Pad Video Alphabet that tells you the sounds of all the letters with Tad and Lilly or whoever the frogs are from Leap Pad.  So despite that being quite annoying he really knows that....just needs to know how to write them!!

till next time!

Campin'

So we were at Camp the past few weekends, and Noah was there the weekend before that since I had to work!!  Needless to say Noah L O V E S camp and he is non stop there, dirty, and totally proves the meaning of all boy!  Now that he's older I am loving every minute of it, he's learning so much, following the "big kids"  wanting to be just like them, which honestly is quite scary not to mention is like making me think watch it kids!  But all in all he has been really exceptionally well behaved there so there isn't any complaints, he only has two rules at camp 1. stop to eat 2. stop to go potty.  He's lucky cause he can just pee on a tree at camp, and trust me he had "marked" most of them! lol
Jumpin' with Pop!

Sleeping with Poppy the other weekend!

Noah Loves it at camp, and so does Parker!  Parker is just like Noah was loves to be outside!  He's all boy just like Noah!  I can't wait to watch the two of them grow up together!!  I love them both to pieces!
