Fun fort!

Sunday we took Noah and Kailyn to the Fun Fort!  It was awesome!  That place is so much better kept then Middletown's Kids Kastle and I think it's even nicer than Hershey's!

After we left here we went to Rita's for some Ice and Noah had Custard!  Rather interesting!

We had fun Sunday night!  We stayed out until Noah's bedtime!  After this we took Kailyn home and headed home, it was 8 by the time we got home and that's when Noah's been asking to go to bed lately!  But he didn't last night, he stayed up until about 9 I guess! 

Camp weekend

This past weekend we spent at camp.  Noah and I were going to spend the weekend at home alone, but then at the last minute before Grammy and Poppy left Grammy said the dreaded "C" word....well anyone that knows Noah knows that was the end of staying home!  So I packed our bags quick and we went along!
We had a really good time though, so I'm glad we went!  Noah loves it at camp!  Probably because we spend like every waking minute outside even nap time is usually outside in his stroller!  The boy loves it outside and in the water!  This weekend was also Parker's first weekend at camp to!  So I was glad I didn't miss that!

I went on two boat rides this time.  I really enjoy it, it's a sense of freedom or something.  My Dad lets Noah stand between his legs and help steer and control the gas....well that's dangerous!  If my Dad moves his hand Noah slams the gas and the boat goes flying!  It's ok though, nothing dangerous he loves it! 
We had a blast, Noah and I went on two walks, one of which he was walking and holding my hand, and the other (close to nap time) that I put him in the stroller and he fell asleep!  That time we walked with my sister and Parker.  We had a lot of fun and Saturday night roasted hot dogs on the fire for dinner, it was yummy! 

Sunday was Noah's Daddy's 2 yr anniversary of his passing.  That's really all I was thinking about all day long.  But once we got home we did some fun things with him and Kailyn so it took my mind off things for a while.  Tomorrow I plan on going to visit after work if it isn't raining.

All in all I had a great weekend!  I can't believe it's the middle of August....where is the time going??

20 Things a Mother should tell her Son

**First let me just say that I got this off of Pinterest, and I love it!  I think that 90% if not all of it is absolutely true and everyone with a son should do the same!  enjoy!**

1. You will set the tone for the sexual relationship, so don't take something away from him that you can't give back.

2. Play a sport. It will teach you how to win honorably, lose gracefully, respect authority, work with others, manage your time and stay out of trouble. And maybe even throw or catch.

3. Use careful aim when you pee. Somebody's got to clean that up, you know.

6. Pray and be a spiritual leader.  (noah already pray every single night, we have started that ritual young!)


7. Don't ever be a bully and don't ever start a fight, but if some idiot clocks you, please defend yourself.

9. Treat women kindly. Forever is a long time to live alone and it's even longer to live with somebody who hates your guts.

13. "Yes ma'am" and "yes sir" still go a long way.

**OK so I take that back they are 100% accuarte!  I love it!  I know my son is only two, and most of these do not apply yet, but this will be read to him for sure once he's a teenager or graduating High School!

M&H Railroad

Last Saturday I took Noah for a surprise, he had no idea where we were going. Actually he thought we were going to buy something for him, but we weren't! I planned to take him for a ride on the M&H railroad Saturday morning! He likes trains, and well anything that goes! The last train ride he was on was last September when we went to Day out with Thomas, which was a wash out....literally! This is so close to home that I can't see not taking him once in a while on it!

Grammy got him a "Goat truck" almost just like Poppy's at the Train station gift shop!

He was a perfect angel at the station, waiting for the "All aboard!" from the conductor and on the whole ride! I could hardly believe it myself! He even went pee on the potty on the train! That was pretty cool! He covered his ears every time the whistle blew, and was just about asleep by the time we got back to the station! He had a awesome time!
The tracks got washed out closer towards the end from the September flood, so we couldn't go the whole way like before.  It was still 1 1/2 hour train ride though.  It's a shame to have gone through driving and seen the destruction from the flood then going on the train ride you seen more homes that are condemned and are just basically sitting there.  It's a real shame.

I'm not sure but there was a man that rode the train at the same time that had a long beard and the lady with him said something about Santa Claus, and we told Noah he was one of Santa's spy's so I don't know if that's why he was so good on the train or not but hey whatever works right?!
Then since Noah was such a good boy on the train ride his Grammy bought him a Goat truck (dodge truck) that's silver and almost exactly like his Poppy's in the station gift shop! He adores this truck and has been sleeping with it ever since! 

It was a pretty good weekend once again!  I can't complain!  This weekend we are heading up to camp!


Monday Noah was a complete pickle to say the least so we stayed home, tonight Mom went to visit my sister and Parker so I made dinner did laundry and then Noah said he wanted to go to bed at 8pm and I ended up falling asleep with him!  I woke back up at 11, folded wash and here I am.  Now I am hoping to get back to bed!  I'm hoping to make it to the Fuzzy Few Thursday!  We'll see!
