Last Saturday Noah started his gymnastics class! He had a lot of fun, which I knew he would! He LOVES Jumpin' Jitney that comes to the daycare which is just a small gymnastics bus. I was toying with putting him in a class when he turned 3, then his cousin Antonio goes to a Parent and me class for 18 months to 3 years then they start class on their own at 3 1/2. So I thought what the heck he can go with him there! It's only a 1/2 hr class, but he sure got his work out! He loved it and it's not that expensive so I think I will keep it up as long as he wants to do it! Until he can get into a sport this is good, keeping him busy and active is my goal! He's already active, and a busy body so he needed something to do with all that energy!
Noah had a blast and can't wait to go back! You couldn't really see the picture of him on the balance beams because they are way in the back, but he loved it and did great! Turns out that the lady who owns it grew up across the street from my Dad! So that was kind of neat, it's such a small world! Everywhere you go you end up being connected somehow!
On the 17th I also celebrated my 32nd Birthday! I already have the best present I could ever want, but I guess Birthdays keep coming anyway! Despite having a headache for 4 days at the time, with no relief even after pills, and a Toradol shot I had a GREAT day!
Sunday evening Noah started his Barking seal cough, on and off. Thankfully I was off Monday for MLK Jr day, he was a little worse but I remembered when he was a baby and had Croup they said to take him out in the fresh air and steam bathroom. I had him out 3 different times Monday, turns out Monday night he was even worse. Ended up taking off work Tuesday and keeping him home and taking him to the Dr, he has Croup and a upper respiratory infection. Poor kid, He just got over a ear infection. Guess it's that time of year! He seems to be a little tiny bit better, but taking it slow is the best bet! The Dr said he should be better by the weekend. I'm hoping!

Farm Show 2013
Today we all took the day off to go to the Farm Show! Last year I took Noah on the last Friday also, and took him to watch the tractor square dancing which we didn't do this year! I think last year it put him to sleep because after we watched that he was sleepy so we ate some lunch and left!
This year also Uncle Joe came along with us which was fun! Noah stayed awake and alert the whole time we were there and enjoyed looking and touching all of the animals!
The only things we got to eat this year was the two best things from the farm show and that's the cheese cubes and the potato donuts! We were there early so the lines were not bad at all, crowds didn't really start until we were leaving which was great, especially because Poppy was with also and he doesn't do well with crowds! Wrong place to go right?! Here are a few of the pictures from today, first thing we saw was Noah's favorite! Huge John Deere!

We left the farm show and headed to get lunch at Tony's Pizza or Aunt Krista's pizza shop! I have always referred to my best friend Krista as Aunt Krista to Noah so since her and Antonio opened the shop when we go there we ask him if he wants to go to Aunt Krista's! Lunch was great, then we headed home, Uncle Joe went on his way, Grammy and Poppy went and Picked up Parker from Daycare, and Noah went and took a nap! Boy was he tired cause he as knocked out in less than 20 minutes!
Mr. Parker got to spend the afternoon with us today! Noah is still having a little jealousy issues, especially at our house.
Then Noah and I did some playing with Play Doh....that was fun. He has enough until he's about 10 though, thanks Aunties!

First REAL snow fall!
Well I'm a little behind in my updates, and my memory is really bad anymore so I can't really remember when our snow came! But I do know we had a bit of white on the ground for Christmas but then we got a few more inches the next weekend I believe. I weekend before New Years??? I don't know, but Kailyn was here and I know that we were out while it was still snowing! So I know I'm right! ha ha
Santa Claus brought Noah a little saucer sled for Christmas, perfect timing Santa! Kailyn helped make a trail down the little hill in the yard and he enjoyed his first few trips sledding! He enjoyed more just throwing himself down in the snow I think, but hey, what can I say?!
So I literally had to bribe him into the house! We were both sick, it was freezing, and he didn't want to go in! Thankfully it wasn't too much of a fight, and Kailyn was a big help getting him back inside, he likes to follow her around when she's at the house!
Sunday he was watching videos on the laptop as I was waiting for the breakfast casserole to get done we were trying....he looked like such a little man!

taking a break!
love him!

One thing is for sure, my boy is growing up! He's been saying and doing some of the funniest things! I don't know where it came from but he keeps saying "I sure do, It sure does, Sure enough" It's so cute! I'll ask did you have a good day at school today? he'll respond "sure did Mama" Or at dinner we'll ask if something is good and he'll say "it sure is!"
Last evening he was throwing himself down on the floor and then standing up and brushing himself off and saying "what did someone push me down on something?" He's been saying that funny stuff a lot! He's becoming a lot more independent on a daily basis! He's slowly learning to get fully undressed however getting dressed is a lot harder....things end up backwards and he gets frustrated and gives up. So that will take a little more time! I'm super proud of him though! He's been fully potty trained since 2 1/2 besides at bedtime which that could take years. Every kid is different, sometimes he wakes up dry other times soaked so he still gets a overnight pull up for bed, and nap he gets a pull up to but is 9 times out of 10 dry when he gets up!
He's getting better and better with his counting, we are working on letter recognition in the bathtub since he got the foam letters. He's a bright kid.

I'm a proud Mommy!
I'll leave you with this.....when we went to CVS to get his script the other Friday after his Dr appt, we were walking around the store waiting for it to get done....he wanted to get a car (last thing he needs) so we went looking and he blurted out "Mama you can get some ultra strong" I glanced over to see Charmin Ultra Strong sitting right there and Noah pointing......amazed and half flabbergasted I said how did you know what that was? He laughed, but seriously it was like he read the freaking package! THEN we were at Giant this was the next week, walking down the toilet paper aisle and what does he say? "Mama you can get some Charmin Ultra Strong!" YES he actually said the whole thing....amazed....lol I'm guessing he memorized it from the commercial? I have no other explanation unless he's a genius!

Christmas 2012
Santa Came!
As always my Mom cooked her usual pasta dishes, meatballs, Schmidt's Sausage, ham, and chicken noodle soup for Christmas Day. Her family comes over basically are in and out all day long. It's nice to be able to see all my Aunts and Uncles that I don't always get to see, and cousins to! We always have a good time! We had company Christmas Day until 8 pm!
Noah and that Umi Car put the brakes on opening gifts for a minute!
Parker's First Christmas!
Antonio and Noah
His Christmas list included a guitar, cars (really? who knew!), chuggington, Umi Car. Really that is all he asked for on a continuous basis! I found a Geo doll that's shape and numbers interactive at Toys R Us when I was shopping so I figured he would like that and got that and the Umi Car! I think besides the Scooter he got the Umi Car is his favorite! He loves that show Umizoomi on Nick Jr for anyone who doesn't know who Umi Car is! He is branching out from Sprout and doesn't really watch that anymore, he watches a lot of Nick Jr and Disney channel. His favorite shows are UmiZoomi, The Fresh Beat Band, Go Diego Go, and on Disney he loves Chuggington, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and actually I guess it's his feminine side coming out but he likes Doc Mcstuffins! lol He has already informed me that he wants a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Birthday!
I was so excited that Noah got everything he asked for and more! His Poppy was looking around for a used 4 wheeler that was in good shape and a good price for him, but had no luck for a small one. That would have been the only thing that could have topped the things he already got! I ask him if he had a good Christmas and he tells me yes he had a great Christmas! I love that!
Noah got me a beautiful Vera Bradley Purse and wristlet for Christmas! I love it! I love Vera Bradley!

Few days until Christmas.....
Man oh man I don't know where this year has gone, but it seems like in a blink of a eye months have flown by! Time seems to go slow as your in that moment but then you look at the calendar and it's already the end of that month....it's like when did that happen?!
This year however I am super lucky and proud to say that I have been finished with all my Christmas shopping since before Thanksgiving and the stuff I have been picking up has just been little extras here and there! First year in many that I could say that! I know I am not by any means rich, or can get Noah everything he could ever want in life, but out of the Christmas list he had this year.....he got everything on it! He should be one happy little boy Christmas morning! I am so excited and can't wait! Honestly, this year is going to be so much fun! He had a few presents to open already little things and he dug right in, I can't wait until everything is there!
Charlie the Elf has been hanging around, in the bathroom, on the fish tank, in the Christmas Tree, on top of the shelving unit, on his Tractor, hanging from the light in the kitchen, in Mommy's car, he even showed up at Daycare two different times! He's one silly elf! He even one night played with Noah's cars and made a Parking lot, which is what Noah always does and left Noah a note to see how he did....Noah was less than thrilled that Charlie was playing with his cars!! I think that Noah might be a little too young yet to fully get the whole elf on a shelf thing, but I think that he sort of understands it. There is a elf on the shelf movie that we just caught the very end of one night, I would like to watch the whole thing cause I think then he'd get it! I don't know. But soon it's time to say good bye to Charlie until next year, I'll miss that sneaky old elf!
The other day was Noah's daycare Christmas Party! As always it was fun! Noah got a little something for his friends, and his teachers. Made some melted snowman cookies, and then brought some regular cookies when I realized that maybe everyone wouldn't want to eat all that sweetness!
The party as all the parties was nice! The teachers did a great job making the gifts for the parents! As always they always make the best stuff!
Tomorrow is Friday and PJ day at daycare, so Noah is going to wear his Christmas PJ's and he wants to take his Prep and Landing movie to share with his class since they usually watch a movie on Fridays!
We had a nice visit from my sister, Danielle and Parker tonight! Man I love my little nephew! Tonight he was dressed like a elf! So cute!
I guess that's all for now, until Christmas!

Our weekend, Santa, Birthdays and Surprises!
This weekend is just about over, and it has gone so fast I feel like I did nothing at all! It's insane, I don't know who thought up this whole work 5 days and be off 2 but I'd like to kick them in the butt if I could find them!
We had a rather busy Saturday! A fun Saturday none the less though! First we left in the morning and headed up to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa! Fun Fun! Thankfully the line wasn't long at all, so that wasn't a issue at all! Noah had fun trying out all the 4 illers (4 wheelers)! He is obsessed with anything with wheels, typical boy all the way!
This was the power wheels one but he did try out all of them, including ones that were for him when he's like 30! He had fun! He took advantage of the photo op with the snowman in order to ride on this 4 wheeler! lol
Then we got in line to see Santa, Grammy and I were trying to get him to tell Santa that he isn't good all of the time, but then Santa didn't ask him that....why? Cause Santa already knows duh, and Charlie is hanging out here giving Santa reports every night!
Noah and Parker both had their pictures taken with Santa, and both with smiles! So cute, love those boys!
Both boys then rode the Carousel, Noah rode it 3 different times. Twice with a Moose and once with a Polar bear!
Then it was off to Antonio's 3rd Birthday party! Is birthday is on the 5th for real. He loves Angry Birds apparently, so that's the cake he had! He is so tech savvy for a 3 yr old! Noah doesn't have a clue who or what Angry Birds are! lol
He got a lot of nice gifts and cousin Noah was right there, just as excited (if not more) as Antonio for them all! Especially the cars he got, and the book of Chuggington, and the Castle! Happy Birthday Antonio Ray your growing up to fast just like Noah!
Today we decided we were going to get the cleaning done we had to do so we could decorate for Christmas, well we did get it done, but we didn't get the Christmas decorations pulled out as planned and a few odds and end done as planned. I got Noah's Nativity up, and his tree up and some decorations on it but that's it!
Then Dad came in and said Noah's toy box was all done and dry and could be brought in. Noah seen this in the garage but he didn't know what it was or that it was for him! So it was a huge surprise for him! This toy boy is huge, my Mom took a picture of Noah standing in it before we filled it! He LOVES it! He wanted to put his toys away, he wanted to sit on it stand on it, you name it! He loves it and I love it! This thing will last him until he's married! Then if he has a son and names him Noah he can hand it down! Thanks Dad!
We had a very busy weekend, and now it's over and back to the grind! I'm putting in some OT this week so Noah is going to be going to daycare earlier than usual, not sure how that will go over for me. Hopefully it won't be bad!
Next weekend is Christmas Decorating for sure!!!
